The gear ratios on the fn2 are shorter, lightened flywheel as standard and a improved intake are a few things that allow it to have the same 0 60 time as the ep3. The fn2 is mappable out of the box, ep3 is a whole ECU exchange. With a good polybush setup and geo, the fn2 handles better than an ep3 in my opinion, similar cars like the old Peugeot and Renault, same set up and handle sublime.

Not to mention they’re more comfortable look better in my opinion, have cruise control, Bluetooth, Aircon, bigger boot, panoramic roof et cetera 👍

Love my 2010 fn2. Anything that's sub 2011 for a honda is magical. Soon as the fk2 came out, the build quality really took a dive. Endless chain stretch issues and rust on the fk2, fk8 etc, which is a shame. If this wasn't an issue I'd probably have had a newer version.

I have a very clean 2010 fn2 and my personal take is the car is very practical with a big boot and great storage, the interior is tight but well screws together with fantastic seats and a very nice driving position, the exterior while I think it looks good is frankly just personal taste, the drive is very much a different feeling from LSD too non LSD. Mine is a late 2010 so come standard with an LSD and having driven both it does certainly make up alot for the understeer issues and actually makes the car much better especially in wet conditions. Buy good tyres on an LSD model and understeer is frankly not an issue. Now as far as power or performance.....I would say the combination of the engine having improved torque over the ep3 and a slighter shorter final drive in the gearbox help the car quite considerably. The car certainly isn't a missile but will once on the move the combination of the aforementioned changes really do make the car feel very quick indeed. Mine is totally standard and it made 207bhp on a Dyno and I can tell you it's every bit as quick as my Mégane F1 team and I don't just mean in a straight line. The fn2 got alot of bad press but if you drive a LSD version you will notice its certainly not deserved of it's bad press. Yes....honda should of gave it more bhp and yes they probably should of put the LSD in as standard on all years but don't think it's a bad slow downgrade for an ep3 because it's just not the case. It's better everyday and a great car too drive that responds well too modifications and loves an enthusiastic driver. Appreciate it for what it is and it will really surprise you. Thanks all.

I got FN2 championship white 2008 still in mint condition but rear suspension is hellish regarding pot holes but saying that it handles like a racing car on the bends at high speeds 100 percent that's why I still got it 7 years later
