With the spin move I have seen a player spin but instead of taking the step foward he spins back around going straight to home for a strike … it caused a big issue with is it a balk or not. He never put the leg lift down and stayed in set position

Love the inside move... Most runners in lower levels take huge leads when they see that leg go up. I used to do it long and slow.

on the spin move, its considered a throw from the rubber, but if you don't throw its not a balk, unlike 1B or 3B where it would be, correct?
