Ok, Gotta admit... Multiple Man sounds like a legit interesting character with an interesting power. Personally, Would genuinely love a solo Multiple Man film. FOX had SO MANY interesting characters with plenty of great team-ups and amazing stories but for the most part, they just didn't handle them well at all. Also, They made Wolverine the main focus and underdeveloped A LOT of other character with the exceptions of your Xaviers and Magnetos. My boy Cyclops(the actual leader of the X-men) was robbed BIG TIME. The Cyclops and Wolverine dynamic should've been handled like Iron Man and Cap's was in the MCU. Like the MCU did it better not just in terms of world building and character developments and team dynamics but also, Iron Man was the poster boy BUT they didn't forget or discard the other members of the squads.
@josephmorris37784 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I like your comparison to the Cap and Iron Man relationship. Wolverine and Cyclops should be like that, not just because of their differences in methods and beliefs, but with the added bonus that they're both interested in the same things: executing Xavier's vision, protecting the X-Men, and sleeping with Jean.
@caydenblue4 жыл бұрын
Multiple Man would be a good tv series. Could show different storyline’s between his personalities and stuff that would work better in a series then a 2 hour film

I also think that James Marsden is a great, charismatic and funny actor who could've done for Cyclops what Chris Evans did for Cap. But, alas, the pedo in charge of the X-Men had no interest in anything but Wolverine.

Here's what staggers me about this. Fox had TWO chances to do Dark Phoenix correctly. They messed up the first time, but hey! "Days of Future Past" enabled them to do it correctly, the second time around!... And they fudged it up again... It's almost like the people at Fox are ALLERGIC TO THE SHI'AR! What the hell is the problem with including the Shi'ar Imperium in the Marvel Universe?! They've always been a rather big player in the MU, haven't they?? The only time I ever want to see Dark Phoenix again is if Disney/MCU decides to do it RIGHT, with the Shi'ar, and Lilandra, involved! Is that too much to bloody ask?!!?
@agentofchaos74564 жыл бұрын
@@JordanWheeler1999 Missing my point. Which is that a lot of people talk bad about the movie BECAUSE they misunderstand it’s source material. This movie was based on Jean’s character arc into the Dark Phoenix from Uncanny X-Men #100-134. The ending with Jean going Phoenix and flying off into space is when she is actually the Dark Phoenix. She would have destroyed a planet in the sequel, which was foreshadowed in X-Men: Apocalypse. The guys in the video seem to mistakenly think that Jean is the Dark Phoenix for the bulk of the movie and misinterpreted its point.

What they've done with Doom, where they progressively have moved him further and further away from what is a very interesting. well written character is so confusing. "You know what, they haven't; really landed the plane on this iconic Doom character in the other movies...so for this one, how about we make him a computer technician named Victor Domashev? That'll work, right?" A well written Doom movie, even if it's just a B+ relative to the Marvel Universe (say a Doctor Strange level movie), makes 500M and sets up an interesting antagonist to be used for a number of other film properties (Black Panther, Avengers, etc.), a bit like how a pretty "bad" movie in Thor gave the MCU Loki to use in other films. There's a "Gordon Gekko" sweet spot there they could hit with that character where he's the "bad" guy but also someone the fans like.

I just rewatched Logan (and every other X-Men movie after seeing Dr Strange) and its such an easy pick now. Dafne Keen's X23 was something special. A 12 year old making her debut as the character not being overshadowed by Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart giving their send off to characters they'd played for almost 20 years is just crazy. The action, the aggression and the quiet sadness without losing her playfulness... she had it all. At 17 irl, if you pluck her from her universe (maybe with some time travel to fix the timeline) you get her pretty close in age to Spidey, Kate Bishop etc. So she won't be out of place in a potential team setting. Also, apart from Deadpool, only Logan is really remembered fondly from the later X-Men movies, so it makes sense to carry that goodwill. It just makes all the sense to do

Actual Doom solo movie would be great. I think they could definitely do something to set up Doom as some kind of new political figure or humanitarian in the wake of Thanos in the MCU and set him up as the protagonist of his own movie before eventually letting him be a Thanos level multi-movie threat himself. They could even eventually incorporate the famous scene from the comics where the Panther God acknowledges that the only future with peace is one ruled by Doom and have some moral conflict. Doom is definitely one of the best Marvel characters and its a complete shame that no one can do him any justice... I desperately hope that they don't tie him as a character to the success of Fantastic 4 in the MCU, cause I just don't see them being very popular and that frankly is not the kind of scope Doom deserves.

The X men timeline is so confusing I just consider every movie to be in a universe of its own . And if a movie makes a reference to past films I just consider the fact that some events in this timeline are similar to the events of the universe of the mentioned movie Did you get it ?

I laughed so hard at the "gah-rawn-tee" bit I nearly choked on my Captain Crunch. Expect a call from my lawyer. My blind lawyer. My blind lawyer that's always bleeding and bruised. (that's a Daredevil reference.)

I'm Turkish and at 4:17 I got confused for a sec. I tought to myself "I wasn't watching something from a Turkish channel, why am I seeing Turkish subtitle?". Where did you found that video I wonder

I am learning Turkish and I thought I might actually make use of those Turkish lessons. Still, didn't understood a thing, which makes me nervous since I am supposed to write a Turkish exam tomorrow.

@@plutarchvonpluto6439 Somebody says cut and then basically Hugh says how much he loves his role and how much time has passed since he started playing it. I hope your exam wasn't too hard. Sınavda başarılar

That “Doctor Doom” movie would never happen in the MCU because the premise is actually interesting, but it doesn’t sound like it would fit into the MCU formula.

You joke, but, honestly, anyone who whines about politics in comic book movies is a clown. Superheroes have been political for as long as the concept of superheroes has existed. People only hate it when the movies’ politics don’t line up with their own.

Please don't insert politics into a franchise that's straight up about a group of people being oppressed and discriminated against.

Personally I think dark Phoenix is at least watchable and it doesn’t deserve as much hate as it gets (Remember as far as fox X-men movies went this was not as bad) as opposed to the likes of Apocalypse, X3 and origins

I a lot of people totally misinterpreted its point. I have a video on my channel about its production if you are interested.

So does that mean that Multiple Man can read a 300 or so page book super fast if he were to split himself into 300 mans and have each read page? Or would he just have 1 experience of reading the first page and 299 experiences of not understanding what's going on because they hadn't read the prior pages?

Doom could be introduced in a film where he is trying to save his mother's soul from mophisto, this could also incorporate the introduction of Ghost ridwer, Dr strange, and why not throw in the Mighty Thor after she is introduced in Thor 4

Change "Fear the Beast" to be about Sasquatch. It lets you be far up north and in isolation and you could build on it like a horror Hulk, where in the end he conquers the change and goes on to be a start for Alpha Flight.
