News Flash: I saw this thing in Winter Wheat harvest, it was a Disaster. In Texas it it didn’t run for more than 5 hours. They had JD Harvest Support all over this thing. I was on a crew with JD combines, we had al kinds of issues. The support folks from Moline just shook their heads we asked how the X9 was doing? In Oklahoma it ran 2 days, JD pulled it and sent it Kansas. We caught up to it in Tribune KS. It didn’t run for days. Just in Kansas one tech told me they spent 65k trying to get this thing to run. I did see it traveling thru town under its own power, yea Deere. The X9 is way to heavy for transport combine for a wheat harvest crew. Your Demo was canceled for “not ready for prime time “ reasons. Just say in.

Wonder if the X9 will be the N6 of Deere's history? (the N6 came out as world's largest combine, but was plagued for about 3 years with constant updates, something like 200 different updates in that time, and by the time they got to series 3, where they had everything fixed, the economy was garbage. Even AC showed that the original Ns were garbage when they put them next to a series 3, but their reputation was and still is ruined, many people won't touch a Gleaner due to the early N series and their trooubles)

We are pulling for you Mike. We think a good selling point for any manufacturer, would be to say that it has been tested by Mike Mitchell, and has his seal of approval. I imagine that you have heard that Fendt has come out with a new 2-track tractor, the 1167 Vario MT with 673 HP. Almost every other comment from around the world, says to get one to Mike Mitchell, so he can try it out. Sorry to put so much pressure on you, but we know that you will put any product through its paces, and be fair about it.

oldfarmer here, Mother Deere is really getting on my nerves. I'm 61 and when i was young Deere set the mark on so many things, the 10 and 20 series tractors were ground breakers, 1st company to come out with low profile chopper heads,I remember guys saying back then that they can't work. Combine corn heads with a single oil bath gearbox per row, unheard of. Max emerge planters set the standard for years, now the damned things are so complicated that several large operators around here are trading them off on used Kinze's simpler monitor and less trouble, how about the sound guard body, competition scoffed but it sold like hot cakes and left the others to catch up. Now it seems all mother can do is cut and paste, they are running on their name, that won't last forever. I bled green for over 50 years but bought a McCormack and like it and now I'm looking at a used Case IH, the dealers are pricey and arrogant and mother is grasping, makes me sad

It shows the company has a lot of confidence in their machine when the machine is sitting very close to a farm that’s willing to buy a lot of combines and they cancel the demo. It also shows they have a lot of confidence in their machine when they show up with a 40 foot header for a machine that’s designed to carry a 50. That’s shameful, step up Deere. You’re losing more and more customers every year especially because of the fight to repair act.
@payne20864 жыл бұрын
BWM I agree. It doesn’t help that Deere has the other cooperate assholes such as Apple Microsoft and AT&T backing them up. I feel sorry for the small town dealers, I want to see the succeed, but I’m not paying 3 grand for an oil change, but you have to if you don’t want to void the warranty. The cp690 is a mess with so much requirements to keep the warranty. It didn’t even come with an instruction manual... seriously...

"build with pride" "more bushels per acre" apparently not compared to a ideal 9. JD cancelling only confirms that they are worse then the ideal 9 or 10. their scared, dont claim its the highest output combine (according to jd the only class 11 in the world) if it cant even compete with a fendt class 9 combine let alone the class 10. JD claims 100t/h harvest with the x9, where as fendt only claims 85 t/h, but now jd is like 'oh sh*t a fendt with 85 / hour will easily beat our 100 / hour'. imagine what the ideal 10 can do then as according to fendt the 10t has 20% more capacity then the ideal9, therefor the 10 can theoritically go up to 102 t/h. so if the ideal 9 with 85 / h already beats jd at 100 / h, the ideal 10 with 102 / h is gonna DESTROY the x9, thats y they backed out, they dont want a direct head to head comparisation. P.S. @Mike Mitchell you got an idea of when the IDEAL 10T is gonna arrive?

@Wikkitt Klown i have to agree with you on that one, it is gonna fall short. it seems like its such a big secret that their even scared of selling it. apparently jd doesnt want money anymore 😅😅

Their backing out confirms nothing since all you'r doing is speculating as to the reason. You wrote a novel full of nothing but conjecture.

@@jfdb59 true, but it sure isnt good publicity for jd. They either should have said no from start, or backing out way faster. They bring it DOWN., then its like haha sake your not getting it. Y would jd go through all this effort to sort one, and the day after they hear mike is planning to put it head to head with ideal they cancel. Seems VERY suspicious to me.

Maybe they watched some of you're other vids and saw how you go on tangents when you dislike things. Even though that's why we love you're vids manufacturers probably dont. 😆 😆 another great video. Keep it up

Mike, John Deere does cotton, spraying, and GPS the best. The reason for being the best in this area is the Vardemans in Texas. They improve and invent things to build the best equipment in these areas. John Deere actually calls there operation Vardeman Ubiversity. They send an engineer from Moline for 6 weeks every year to shadow the elder Vardeman.

You know that New Holland has been selling the CR10.90 (twin rotor) for ~3 years already ? And Greg probably has a 60 foot header for it.
