GW really doesn't deserve passionate and driven fans, such as yourself. I hold no illusions that, while GW provided the blocks, it is fans like you that created the marvelous architecture that is this universe. @@Ninjaguiden89 I don't know if you know this, but GW is notorious for stealing shit from other IP's. Alien, terminator, starship troopers, etc. While I do feel for the any talented artists and writers that GW hires, GW no longer cares for the hobbyist. The kind of person like Oculus that is passionately driven and willing to do the foot work to bring others into the hobby. Like I said, GW supplied the brick and foundation. But it was passionate animators, war gamers, and lore experts that built the home that is Warhammer. I guarantee that, if you didn't have an older family member show you the table top, you became interested in Warhammer through the games, animations, and/or lore channels. I don't know of a single person whose introduction to the setting was organic or through the books.

@@Duskraven67 literally. 40k has consumed my life for the last 2 years and it all started when a Luetin09 video showed up in my recommended. “Top ten worst jobs in the imperium” i watched it and after I immediately binged his entire channel over the next couple months. I barely read the books and I have 0 interest in the game. In fact I think the game being the main money maker for GW(all those ultra marine mini sales got their pockets fat lmao) is the main thing holding back the potential quality of the writing. There’s so much potential in the setting. GW barely scratches the surface with it and it’s channels like this that make the setting worth all the hours and hours of discussion and research lots of the fan base puts in.

When ever the Warp is involved time becomes eschewed. Its well possible the mission that would found Xana was launched thousands of years after the Great Crusade. Then thanks to the Warp, the fleet ran a ground at Xana thousands of years before the Imperium. So when Xana first encountered the forces of the Great Crusade, they realized the time gap. So in order to prevent paradoxes and the like. Decided to keep its distance from rest of the Imperium. While playing dumb and never reveal their true origins.
@TheLH863 жыл бұрын
Possible, yet it doesn't explain the automated ships, nor incredible titan strength given the comparative lack of manufacture and knowledge of both types of technology in the modern Imperium.
@BurningFyre3 жыл бұрын
I doubt it, Xana was Mechanicum, not Mechanicus. They may have hidden their true allegiance, but why would they not warn anyone of future events? Not to mention, they were producing battleships and titans, something totally lost to the people of the 40th millennium, and with tech never seen before. I think the answer is that an early mechanicum colony vessel got caught up in a warp current that threw them there, way off target. On Xana, they discover a pre-Old Night military production facility. They end up scrapping their colony ship for parts as they build an army, needing to maintain their own security being so isolated.

My theory is that Xana was a Martian Dark Age of technology outpost that started to regress during old night, only to luck out with a Mechanicus Martianship that was blown off course. Thus over who knows how many years the two cultures of Xana became one culture and one people before the Imperium discovered them.

It depends on the Primarch. You don't expect Angron, Petarabo and Russ to do a good job in governing a galaxy wide empire. Ferrus Manus, Magnus, Lorgar might do a decent job. Roboute Guilliman however is a peerless administrator.
@mando6863 жыл бұрын
Actually each primarch had a purpose in the war to help the Emperor claim the Galaxy. With the exception of Gulliman and Vulcan, I think the Emperor would have did the same thing to the Primarchs that he did to the Thunder Warriors once the Galaxy was his. The Emperor was a stone cold killer..
