An item takes 10 seconds to smelt and there are 27 stacks in a chest mine cart. 64 * 27 * 10 = 17280 seconds, 17280 / 60 = 288 minutes, 288 / 60 = 4.8 hours. Of course this is only correct when the bank runs at full speed

@@jo_de_pro1973 If I am not wrong, 10 seconds for it to smelt 1 piece of cactus, 1 piece of cactus gives 1 exp and according to google lvl 0 to lvl 30 takes 1395 exp, that means you'd need 1395 * 10 = 13 950 seconds of cooking to get lvl 30 [of course as well assuming max speed of the atm] 13 950 s / 60 = 232.5min / 60 = 3.8 hours. This is truly one of the strengths of Hermitcraft. It is a functional community, where they have people with different skillsets and levels of experience and they are humble and generous enough to share the knowledge and experience. They are willing to bring in players like Zedaph and Skizz, who may not possess some of the classic game play competencies, but who more than make up for that in creativity and personality. For that Bop music disk thingy, if I understood correctly, you only need the dropper to not be directly diagonally below the jukebox. And you can't have the "disk return hopper line" right below the "disk feeding hopper line", because then the return line steals the disk from the feeding line. That's why you need that long hopper detour. But unless I missed something, you can totally make the "feeding hopper line" the shorter one, and the "return hopper line" the longer one. This way, the music would start faster. Also, maybe make sure if the sound file starts right away, or if there's a half second of silence before the music starts. If there is, you could trim it out to make the song start faster. In the linked video the music starts right away, but that doesn't automatically means the file you used was the same.

An idea I thought of that could work, is that if you make a t flip flop with when the light turns on and it’s ready, you could add a circuit that when someone steps off of the pressure plate, the light auto turns off. Obviously you could run into the issue where when someone steps on the pressure plate and xp wasn’t taken out it would reset still. but in that case it would just reset the 30 level timer, making the next person get more levels when the light comes on. As long as the area is mob proof lol

Part of the reason the dropper QC issue was so confusing is because in multiplayer, the F3 screen does not reflect the correct powered / activated state of the dropper until *after* you right-click the dropper to see its inventory. Only then will the F3 screen show the correct powered state. Same thing with hoppers even though they don’t quasi-power. So the problem here was realizing QC is at play (why the song plays every other time) AND the F3 screen is sometimes inaccurate so it’s confounding to understand the situation.

If you use calibrated skulking censors, Redstone clocks, etc to set up some jukebox systems throughout the city that play sound randomly or are triggered by certain player interaction could add a really cool element to the city. Things like food sizzling in pans next to kitchens or food trucks. Generators powering on next to the power building. The sound of office lights buzzing and sputtering like you sometimes here in offices or around neon lights. Even just a couple spread around the city could be a really cool option if you can do it without casing too much lag Hope this helps, James

Oh, you could sell Bop-n-Go stations. The Endermen farm is good for repairing everything at once and massive level amounts, but having just enough for a little bit on the go is something people could want around various parts of the server. Probably wouldn't need as massive of a farm to fuel them, because they'd be more occasional, just one instead of two, AND not having to fit within an established space. It could be almost as ubiquitous as a mailbox. The place people put in their orders could even be called, like, the Bop Shop.
