As a channel with less than 1000 subscribers and unable to use the Community features, I've actually noticed an almost complete halt to my channel's progress since this exploit was made known. Now, my growth has been slow since the start, but it was starting to pickup and was pretty steady at the very least. Now I'm struggling more than usual, and I'm curious if any other channels under 1000 subs have hit a similar wall around the same time. I just really feel like I'm getting buried with so many people able to make polls and eat the algorithm. Maybe I'm missing something more, but this just lines up way too perfectly.

Also, IDEA: It may actually be a fun idea to make a video on KZbin exploits of the past, like how PewDiePie rocketed to stardom because of how his actual geography allowed the algorithm to snowball his popularity, or how Markiplier kept showing up in everyone's feed because at the time the algorithm disproportionately pushed longer videos with high view retention. ... or that period if time where the most important SEO of your entire video were the first three words in your title. I agree that it's better to have a local impact when possible, but some issues need more than just localized support.

Whether that be your local Shriner's or Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. when it comes to cancer in general it's far better to donate to research funds rather then just a single research hospital in a localized area. Children's Does research on cancer, and is connected to Emory which houses the CDC, I much rather donate to Emory and or children's which will have a measurable effect where I live then some random hospital that I have no relation to and isn't local to me.
