Different episodes are good; Variety is key. Really like the "best wings" episodes and was excited to see the latest one. Keep up the good work; I remember subscribing when you had less than 20k subscribers, so your channel is booming now. And funny when they were advertising frozen yogurt as 'heathy". As a kid growing up in the 80's I vividly remember the switch to getting yogurt over ice cream big time and it was hilarious when Seinfeld did the episode on the frozen yogurt.

blows my mind that you did this in RVA because when i started feeling nostalgic for froyo i went to carytown (2019), and then i see the EXACT SWEETFROG i went to when I was having a panic attack in college, this video hit so deep in so many ways.

Getting emotional during a video about the decline of the frozen yogurt industry was not on my bingo card for today... I love this channel.

Can you do quick stop stores next? We seem to be in a new trend like froyo had where there is a Wawa on every corner or a royal farms. What makes them so needed what makes them need to be everywhere even down the street from one another.

I grew up during the boom and also worked for a small business froyo shop as one of my first jobs in HS and college, worked there for 5 years. What a time to be alive.

I live in Arkansas, and with the quick mention in this video, and your stop here on your wings tour. (Great choice btw, love foghorns!) You have officially talked about my state more than any other KZbinr. I don’t know if that means anything cool, but thank you sir! 🫡

Sam, I love your videos, started watching with your Outback in Australia. I have to say that I don’t think you can talk about frozen yogurt with 0:02 out talking about TCBY. It opened in 1981 and spread all over and now still has about 450 locations. In fact it was so popular that they were even a plot point in Seinfeld.

I’m an Aussie and this craze went absolutely global - I still remember the Pinkberry theme song off by heart, despite being countries away from a PB 😂

Pink berry pre 2014 was a blast!! The one we had nearby was at the Stanford shopping center and every week we’d stop by whether it be after dinner or just cause. Prices werent terrible back then and it was a nice flavor change change to cold stone and baskin robbins which ruled at the time. Nothin like walking around a mall eating some ice cream (or froyo i should say) and chatting about whatever. I know you mentioned dating but truly a big fall of these kinds of places is not only the cost but the social aspect of it. Theres a multitude of a reasons for it but truth is people arent going out as much these days and thats going to hurt a casual pass by place like this.

I remember even as a high schooler looking around and going "where did all these come from?!" The customization was fun, but I stopped because it was pricey I think

Love this video's timing. A few months back I wanted some Froyo and was very surprised to see only 1 left in my town lol.

I was so excited to see this video - I talk about this all the time!! I feel like after the froyo phase (my local fav was Yogurt Mountain) was the cupcake craze. We are seeing somewhat of a cookie craze now due to crumbl and their competitors but none of these have been able to match the oversaturation of the OG, froyo!

In Memphis the city and suburbs were covered in Yogurt Mountains in this time period. Was in town a year ago and felt nostalgic so I thought about getting some frozen yogurt only to find they all had closed and only 4 or 5 frozen yogurt places seemed to be left in the entire city. Sad but not unexpected.

In the suburban NJ town where I grew up there were 5 frozen yogurt places within a ~ 2 square mile radius. One of which was shown at 8:46 in this video and the last one to close in our town

Here in Olympia, Washington, we grew up on Limeberry. Didn't know of a single other brand. It's pretty empty now, but we still go every once in a while.
