21 also, got a great deal on my 2015 SRT 392 Challenger. Paying $520 a month and placed a $7000 dollar down payment. Talked the price down from $36,000 to $32,000 out the door. 22k miles, gas is $60 a week, and insurance under my parents is $80 a month.

@@digitalfox482 True, not all homes appreciate in value, but with that kind of money, he can purchase a place to live in and own it. Cars depreciate in value. By the time the car is paid off, the value of the car will be at a fraction of the purchase price, plus interest. Houses can lose value, but not as much as a car. Overall, a house is a better investment than a new car.

Payments are around the same. It kills me when people say I should have gotten this or that. I just tell them why dont you have it? 90% of the time they are riding in some piece of sh... car but they are trying to tell me what I should buy. You got what you can afford at that time. Eventually I will get the scat pack. Then they are going to say I should have gotten the hell cat or demon or some other brand of car.

For me it's worth the extra 150 to get what I want. Investments are good for the future but you must also live for now. And I cut back in areas you probably over spend in.

I have the exact same car but the base sticker price is $36245 on mine. I also have the interior appearance group added on for Another $475 which gives you the bright work on the sills, the deluxe floor mats and trunk mat. I got the horsepower disc, and two other discounts and we paid basically the same. The deal was supposed to be a Costco deal, which is supposed to be no more than $1000 over invoice, but I took the deal they gave me. The car is just great. Dodge has really made something special here. Lots of features and performance. Yeah, more with the Scat, but I feel like there is a really good power/handling/comfort balance that you don’t get with an all out racer. I don’t like throwing my money away with insurance companies either and the 5.7 gets lower premiums and regular gas too.

sorry to say but you got hosed on that deal, not sure what your mileage situation per year is but you are basically paying hellcat lease money, and then on top of that you paid gap when your insurance covers gap if you get full coverage. Your interest rate is expectable for age and no credit history. Insurance is a bit high but it depends on area, my hellcat is under my parents name as well insurance purposes and im paying $150 a month for max coverage with a $0 deductible. Either way enjoy your new ride.

I work at Mercury insurance and I hate hearing people say full coverage because in reality they don't have full coverage. List the coverages you have and then we'll see if its really "full" coverage. BI liability? 15/30 PD liability? 5k? 10k? 15k? 25k? UMPD? UMBI? Collision w/ $1k deductible Comp w/ $1k dedutible? Rental? 20/600 30/900 CDW? So many people make videos saying they have a nice expensive car and that they pay $150 a month for full coverage. But they never list their coverages

That's not a bad deal man. The only thing I would have done differently is shop around for the best interest rate. Chrysler Capital has been offering as low as 1.9% for 60 months with stellar credit (770). But a lot of credit unions are doing 2.24% for just good credit (720-740). Also I would have negotiated a bit more off the sticker price but that has to do more with where you live as some areas just sell more of these cars than others. But all in all a sick car at a good price, enjoy it man!

I think this was a horrible decision first off you took on a 72-month loan for a vehicle so you plan to keep this car for six years and at the end of loan you're not going to sell it that's the only way that you're going to get your money's worth out of it but a lot of people end up selling their cars so you're pretty much lost all your money 2: you should have just financed it for 2 years your payments would have been cheaper and you could have got a new car faster. I would have saved up to put a little more money down as well over $600 a month as pretty expensive for a car: 4 I would have bought a used scat pack more power cheaper price most of the same aesthetics. so at the end of this phone you can end up paying around $44,000 for this car and it's not even a scat pack.
