Rachel! thank you for this new stitch today. your mum and you are just so totally awesome. i think your mum keeping herself elusive, makes her even more special. i would travel to Sydney to see her exhibits. maybe one day you could publish a blurb booklet of her work. so love this pompom circle. i'm threading the needle to try it.

A tiny comb or brush…like an eyebrow or mustache comb…helps split the thread fibers and makes your Pom Pom more fluffy. I’ve been told that the final trimming should be at the very very end… Just like you did… Because otherwise it’s impossible to get all the fibers trim to the same height.

That is just exquisite! Love, love, love the color choices. I was hanging your every word about the Romans. I’m starting my second journal and it’s for my 20 yr old grandson. He is an avid student of ancient Roman society and warfare. So I have been scouring ETSY and Ebay for pictures and small items I can use in his journal. I’ve tried accessing the public access pictures you talk about but haven’t been too successful.. their society and architectural accomplishments are amazing... like the great aqueducts. Thank you, Rachel, for sharing such a wealth of information you have access to. Yeah Steffi! 😊. Oh btw, nothing wrong with some ease dropping (where in the world did that phrase come from?) on ones children..I think it might be listed in the Rights and Privileges of Motherhood.😂
