Because the films ending completely forgets the whole "No technology thing" and it sets up fights between the Robin's and villains that we never see. I don't get why writers keep making Gorilla Grodd a Bat-rogue since there is already a gorilla-theme supervillain: Prof. Gorilla from the Batman manga. If Lord Death Man can make a comeback with a cool edge than why not him?

I guess Grodd is just more recognizable to fans. This happens from time to time where other characters are forgotten to use someone with similar powers and/or appearance because they've had more exposure and has more popularity. I think they did the same in Suicide Squad where Killer Croc was put in instead of Killer Shark.

This idea is seriously 10x better than Ninja Ninja just felt like a stereotypical anime but with Batman characters being flanderised to tropish extremes Idea for Supes BTW, maybe have him escape captivity, wandering the nearby lands, unable to control his power. He can come across a farmer tending to his crop, who tries to comfort him and calm him down. Having nowhere to go and being so young, he and his wife could adopt him, with him spending the next couple of years with them, learning not only the value of a hard day's work, but to show life proper respect. After a time, he can see the constant wars and injustice, knowing he has this great power, leaving his family in the night, leaving only a note that says "I cannot take you two where I must go. All of this fighting must stop. You two have shown me restraint and compassion, values that seem to be in short supply. I only hope its understood that I can't just watch my country burn when I can do something about it. You two have been my hope. Now I have to be theirs. I love you"

I honestly think that this is pretty good. My only gripe is that the Joker is intrinsically linked to Batman in your story. To me it cheapens their relationship by making it more unnatural. I like it when Joker is just the result of Batman's mistake because it makes it so that it is his responsibility and that it is directly his fault that Joker is Slaughtering millions. But when joker kills the Waynes it feels more like a jab back instead of an intense rivalry of 2 equally skilled men. I hope what I said made any sense. The content has beem consistently amazing and keep up the good work

For a Feudal Japan take on Superman, here's two suggestions: 1. A villager and his wife wake up to the sound of a crash-landing and find a strange, mildly-damaged air-craft that looks nothing like they ever saw before. The aircraft automatically opens up, revealing a baby inside. The villager and his wife adopt the baby, and that baby turns out to have superhuman strength, speed, durability, and leap as well as low-level healing factor, superhuman immune system and metabolism, self-sustenance, and slowed aging (yes, loosely based on the Golden Age Superman's power-set, so no flashy stuff like flight, X-Ray vision, Heat vision, etc). Thankfully, the villager is secretly a sorcerer and his wife is a monk who secretly has powers from Raijin the god of thunder, so they have their own powers to discipline their child and use as an example to teach their child to use his powers properly. When the baby grows from child, to teenager, to adult, he excels amazinging at his classes and a noble emperor learns of his powers, that same emperor offers the now-adult man a job as a samurai, which the man now gladly accepts. He becomes the Warrior of Steel! 2. A noble samurai gains powers from a Sun god (think Superman's typical power-set including the flashy stuff, just with a mystical origin instead of an alien origin), and he uses those powers along with his skills in order to continue his fight for honesty, justice, and the Japanese way.

It's fun making up alternative versions of estableshed characters in a new settings, it's fun seeing what changes to fit the new setting as well as for flavor, aswell as getting to see samurai inspired versions of classic heroes, as well as playing guess who when a new character arrives like personally, it took me a second to realize who your lex Luthor stand in was supposed to be, and with joker being a kabuki made perfect sense, and a modern Japanese flash who travels back In time because of the late for school trope, perfect, but I'd rather have a Dick Grayson stand in in the passed because every Batman needs a Robin, and a modern power ranger inspired batman Beyond

I remember being so hyped for Batman Ninja because the concept sounds awesome. Batman but in Japan. The story is ripe with potential. I pre-ordered the movie, popped it in as soon as I got it and saw that we were starting in present day. "oh no, not time travel." I don't get why they didn't just start in Japan, like how we got Red Son with Superman landing in the Soviet Union instead of America. Plus the idea that all of Batman's friends and enemies not only got dragged in with him (despite few of them being present in the original scene) along with them getting there before him is dumb. It just has the audience asking "why?"

One last suggestion that I came up with for a Samurai Superman: The dead corpse of a human-looking alien lands near the hide-out of an alchemist and his wife who wants to create a hero that can give hope to the Japanese people in their fight against Mongolian invaders led by Zod Khan, who has gained powers from an alchemic formula. The alchemist takes some DNA from the corpse, uses alchemy to create a formula using the alien DNA as the main ingredient, and kindly convinces his son to drink the formula. His son, Kuraku Kento, now has the exact same power-set as mainstream comic book Superman, and his alchemist father uses that same alchemic formula to grant himself powers so that he can discipline the boy if needed and also teach Kuraku how to use his powers properly. Kuraku's mother will teach Kuraku about the laws of Feudal Japan as well as teach her son to love Japan. Later on in life, Kuraku is drafted into feudal Japanese military service, where he will use his powers and the skills he learns from military training in order to battle the Mongolian hordes.
