55:10 I can confirm that it's Joplin Missouri, because I live there. Yes there were one pocket tables with only two pockets. But sadly they aren't around anymore. The last poolhall that had one closed down.

Here in the Philippines, we grew up playing Straight 15 Ball rotation. Well, you have to start at 1 ball, you can play safeties, spot if you don't have a shot, carom, combinations. Balls pocketed starting from number 1 ( and any balls pocketed legally) total it up and who reaches 61 count wins. It'll make you more skillful moving the Cue Ball around with all that heavy traffic. So when you play 9 Balls, that's 6 balls less, Boy, much easier to play 9B

Thank you TheActionReport for posting this video. Excellent game. The commentators were fun too. Efren is just incredible. Even when he makes "mistakes" there's fun watching him fix it back, and then win the game. Chris is an excellent and competitive player, difficult to beat. It's just that Efren is relentless and is very good at solving problems.

man watching efren at the end almost brought tears to my eyes. Guys who win boatloads of tournaments are usually cocky or very proud, especially at his age (no offense but see Earl). But from his expression you can tell he's just thanking God everyday for another chance to play the game he loves

Efren plays for his love of the game and especially when he's playing an opponent with the same level of Skills as his Pro Tour players.

Yes. His humility and dedication are amazing. Even at this age he kept winning tournaments. What a legend.

Every time I see this video I learn something new about one pocket and and I love that the way these guy's personalities clash at first and all seem to come together towards the ending. What a riot I mean really good. Hilarious

Great play and even greater commentary by Billy (traditional / percentage play) and Corey (creative / offensive play). These guys should do a whole lot of more commenting on one pocket games.

I'm really tired of hearing whether the commentators "liked" a player's shot or not. Who's playing the game and who isn't playing? Simply comment on teh game situation. No one cares whether "you" liked their shot or not.

Somebody please explain why one commentator says Gentile made a "great shot" at 48:11???
@rougegallery9580
@rougegallery9580 4 жыл бұрын
Because Gentile's intention for that shot was to pocket the 7 ball near Efren's pocket. If he was not able to pocket that 7 ball, then Efren will have chance to pocket that ball and finish the game considering it was already an open table. As you can see, after that shot, Efren has no easy shot on the table. Indeed it was a great shot!

Listening to these announcers……”Man, I didn’t like that shot…that wasn’t the right shot that Efren just did……Nope, I didn’t like THAT shot……Reyes isn’t doing well, he’s not making the shots that I WOULD!” Well, guess what guys…when you get as good as Efren, you can say that. I don’t see you out there beating him.

Commentators some times were behaving themselves like unprofessionals but we all know they are the coolest in the business and one more they really have a humor, I really enjoyed Corey's silly evaluations even though I know he is monster in pool, about Billy I can say he is the best with Danny Dillaberto. On this particular match with Corey he was joking all the time but he is was good I liked it... Frost is cool player and nice at commentating

@mu99ins
@mu99ins 5 жыл бұрын
Commentary is falling down for more than just the sniffles. When a player spots a ball, they should mention why. When a player puts a coin on the table, mention why. This is not your most common game in pool. They talk the rules in football and baseball, why not pool? Well, they don't give a crap, and it shows There's a lack of money in televised pool because the camera work is amateur, and the commentary sadly lacking in information for their audience, and it's a strategy for decline. If they want more tv revenue in pool, train announcers to provide the audience with basic information, and improve camera work. Who's in charge:? Some goon from the Mafia?
