I'm Canadian. If I bypass the e-visa in advance and choose visa on arrival, do I still need to submit the e-arrival app 7 days before arriving?

I didn’t bother doing anything in advance. Upon arrival there was no signs of limitation just a place to take of photo of your passport and continue on the tablet by answering a couple quick questions.

e-arrival is free and it’s mandatory to submit before immigration. You can do it online or do it on site with their tablet, but you must do anyway and why not online.

What did you select on the ipad regarding the visa? That you already have a visa (even though you didn't have) or that you are applying for an e-visa?

I arrived with only my passport (United States) The iPad provided at the airport for travelers is the beginning process of getting the Visa On Arrival. It asked just a few simple questions like what hotel I’m staying at and when is my departing date. Then you go off to the window process as described in this video. It all took less than 10 minutes to complete.

I was there in January when the airport had just opened and so I didn't know how much I would spend, they asked me for 35 dollars but then I found another one who for 30 dollars took me to Siem Reap
