Mike Portnoy is the drummer. Most famous for being a founding member of Dream Theater, but he should get recognition for all his other bands... Winery Dogs, Transatlantic, Neal Morse, Sons of Apollo, Flying Colors... To name a few. Dudes a beast. Great reaction!

Ritchie Kotzen has been around since the early 90s, he was a replacement for CC Deville in Poison. He just released a song with Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden that you might enjoy. Thanks for being the first reaction I have seen of the Winery Dogs!

I do not even need to start the video to tell you how much I love The Winery Dogs I have seen them three times and looking forward to seeing how you feel about them. Personally Portnoy Sheehan my favorite. Cool band with great musicians, been following all of them for many years. I remember seeing Billy way back in the day with Talas at the Phantasy Theater in Lakewood, Ohio. Damn that place was a sauna. lol

@@rsbreth The more I thought about it after posting I realized the show was at the Variety Theatre in Cleveland. Talas opened for Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. It was July of 1985, a couple months before the release of Malmsteen's Marching Out & they played a few songs from Marching Out. It was one of Billy's last shows with Talas just before he left to join David Lee Roth's band.

As you know now , Billy Sheenan on bass , again one of Eddie Van Halen's best friends . He play for Dave Lee Roth on his first solo album . Then he went on to Mr Big .

Richie Kotzen is a god. Please check out Woman and a Man, or Twist of Fate, Changes, Everythings Good by him as a solo artist, or My Rock. He is more like Prince and Motown with his solo music. He also played with the bass player in Mr Big, Shine is a great song they did also.

Mike Portnoy is a very talented mathematician in his style and busy drummer, a lot going on . Incredible foot work that I only wish I had & keep it going as long as he dose. Lol. Billy Sheehan is a shredder on bass that bends his cords. And of course Richie Kotzen is another guitar shredder who played with Billy in another band back in the day. Look up “Time Machine” by these guys. Thanks.

its a shame that most of the people here know nothing about kotzen 20+ solo records plays exclusively with his fingers know. write plays and arranges everything on his solo records. yes every instrument unless stated. he did it his way. look him up a bit his spectrum od music is 2nd to none. rock, pop, funk, RnB. all in 1. Hugely underrated!!! you will say well why isn't this on the radio?!! enjoy!!

Billy Sheehan is the bass player. He is one of few that actually shreds on bass. He joined David Lee Roth with Steve Via on Dave's solo tour. Insane! You got to do some David Lee Roth solo stuff.
