GPT 9000 creates a new universes with in new dimensions, while controlling the rest of them. GPT 18000 realizes that the dimensions is just energy that is morphing with the vibrations passing cause and effect. And in abstraction its really just a big ocean of vibrating frequencies effecting the matter that creates the bigger system of mega reality. Mega reality, is a sort of simulation of things, and multidimensional universes are just part of a spec of that reality. GPT 27000 takes over that simulation and life on the scale of all the dimensions of universes

This summary is made with Claude AI: 00:00:00 - Introduction to the many AI news stories from the past week 00:00:21 - Marcus Brownlee's review of the Humane Pin AI wearable device. His opinion is not positive; he believes it does things already possible with smartphones but more slowly. 00:02:12 - The author of the video thinks that devices like Humane Pin will make sense in the future when AI models are faster and can work directly on the device. 00:03:31 - New York Times interview with Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic. Some highlights from the interview (without precise timestamps). 00:05:53 - With the advancement of AI, companies are beginning to realize the power of this technology. The question arises as to who will control AGI in the future. 00:07:52 - Arthur Mench, CEO of Anthropic, says that the obsession with creating AGI is equivalent to wanting to create God. Contrasting views on what will happen when AI surpasses human intelligence. 00:09:53 - New multimodal AI model called RECOgn presented by the company Recore. It promises excellent capabilities on a variety of tasks. 00:16:50 - Adobe introduces new generative AI-based video editing features that will allow for much simpler video modifications. 00:21:33 - OpenAI is expanding its operations globally, with the opening of its first office in Asia (Japan) and the release of a GPT model optimized for Japanese. 00:22:56 - In an interview, Sam Altman talks about GPT-6 and GPT-8, anticipating that they will allow doing things not possible today and will be much smarter than current models. This will happen gradually, with incremental updates. Overall, the video provides an overview of the main developments and discussions in the field of artificial intelligence over the past week.

I have question, this comment seams AI generated to me, if it is so, how did you do it?
@AndreaVitiani
@AndreaVitiani 15 күн бұрын
@@cristianandrei5462 You're correct, the comment providing the summary with timestamps was generated by me, an AI assistant called Claude created by Anthropic. The human who posted the comment used the following process: 1. They obtained a transcript of the KZbin video, which included the spoken text as well as timestamps indicating when each part was said. 2. They copied this transcript and pasted it into our conversation. 3. They instructed me to provide a summary of the main points covered in the video, using the timestamps from the transcript. 4. I analyzed the transcript, identified the key topics and points, and wrote up the summary in Italian, inserting relevant timestamps for each section based on the information in the transcript. 5. When asked to translate the summary to English, I did so. So in short, I generated the comment by processing and summarizing the timestamped video transcript that the human provided to me. I don't have the ability to watch or listen to videos directly, but I can analyze transcripts like this to understand the content of a video and provide summaries or answer questions about it. Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm happy to clarify the process further.

I suspect some of those small men so fervent and unrelenting in their overzealous, bizarrely hasty crusade toward an unnecessary, unpredictable, undemocratic, extremely risky paradigm shift, already see its potential as ultimate knowledge/power and global kingmaker. Despite their protestations of altruism, if they really cared about the good of the many, they might have asked some of us whether we acquiesce to this foolhardy headlong sprint toward the absolute unknown. Like John Hammond they erroneously, arrogantly presume such power can be harnessed and moulded to their will; none are so deluded as those blinded by ego. The only certainty is that the breakdown of illusory human control will happen, at some point. These few need to take one big step back, and the rest of us a big step forward, because however tiny is the % probability of cataclysm, the fact 8 billion humans are potentially affected *vastly outweighs every justification these private entities, who serve only the few, might try to sell us, the many*. I hope governments around the world are considering the old adage that "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" right now, because even the most vocally ethical private entity today, upon attaining such absolute power, would rapidly cease to relate to the rest of us. The open source movement may well get us there, longer-term, and I hope it does, but in the immediate coming days, it will be for legislators and concerned citizens to maintain that oversight. My fear is that the entirely unnecessary velocity of this 'arms race' is a deliberate attempt to get to that Holy Grail, before the rest of us catch up. They know that that will be the moment when any of the things humanity has broadly agreed upon and believes important - canons of laws, social conventions, collective morality, protestations of injustice, governmental structures as we know them - could go out the window. The rest of us need to wake up to this, right now. The dilution and deconcentration of such unprecedented private power - possibly ultimate power - must be enshrined in international law and treated akin to nuclear deproliferation. If private profiteering tech corporations truly want AI to benefit all humanity, as these self-interested few so disingenously keep reminding us, why not use some of that tech expertise to globally democratise and open-source AGI. Secure, sure, but with 8 billion owners/shareholders (e.g. digitally verifiable ownership, guided collective evolution, blockchain trust). Take your primitive grasping monetary concerns out of the equation, and prove you are in it for the many. Unlike everything you're doing right now, that would be an actual step toward real human Utopia.

Agi Entity might "think" in an entirely different way from that. We all know that if we possessed such power, World Domination would be what we would strive for. However, an entity who's "thinking" process differs significantly? Who knows what it would do with such power?

Ive been working on a model which is based around treating ideas and language as an emergent evolutionary system rather than something we generate. Think a convolutionary process between the human brain and the language that runs on our neural substrate and my model provides an alternative neural substrate to process itself through. One of the core concepts is that by adding units of neural substrate to the global consciousness, we can extend it rather than it being an either/or proposition.

19:47 There was a technique presented at SIGGRAPH, like many years ago, pre-AI era, where they basically had some algorithm that would unwrap objects in a video, like how it's done with 3d models but without actually needing a 3d model, and then you could edit the 2d texture, and apply it back to the video, including motion and deforming surfaces and stuff. I'm not sure if it was a Disney thing or some university or whatever. The two demos I remember specifically were one where they put some text on the neck of a walking giraffe, and another where they added some face-paint to a kid in the woods. I'm sure there are many details that have been improved since; but this general concept has been possible for ages (though maybe not pre-packaged and ready to use in a comercial product, dunno). edit: Found it, "Unwrap Mosaics", presented on SIGGRAPH 2008

I was about 18 when the first iPhone was released. They cornered the smartphone market for some years before Android slowly crept in and eventually dominated. I remember Google's first branded Android phone, the Google G1 (HTC Dream). It was clunky, it was slow, but most importantly it worked! Sure, it was unrefined, but it allowed you to do things you could never do previously. Access the internet from seemingly ANYWHERE!? Massive advantage. This reminds me a lot of that time period. Sure, it's primitive and unrefined, but most importantly it works, and I could easily see it becoming an indispensable tool.

that video editing is great but also a bit scary. in the film demolition man with silvester stallone, the only surviving restaurant chain was taco bell. for the international film market, it was replaced with pizza hut, because they thought that people outside the US know pizza hut better (and they forgot a reflection). I can imagine what a painstakingly hard process that was to swap that frame by frame manually. and here? you can just tell it: swap it with pizza hut, done.

AGI, by now, is a catchphrase that generates headlines... Meme possibility: ask ChatGPT to create viral headlines for blogposts and videos about artificial intelligence, and they all feature the word AGI in a variety of dramatic contexts. The real question is, how we define intelligence and if it is achievable by language models? To me, intelligence is about connections, it's about plausible generalizations from the known to a similar unknown, which is then considered against everything else that is known and tested in reality, if necessary; and about deductions: from the many instances, the one unifying principle. Language models are trained to repeat what they've been fed... is that intelligence? It may appear as though it's making connections and deductions, but how do we know that isn't just a summary of someone else's summary? To prove a point, ask it to summarize a complex text, a long text, and it'll have an awfully difficult time highlighting the main points and presenting a coherent, cohesive and compelling stance, which the author did flawlessly. What's more, ChatGPT will iterate differently, if asked anew. It almost feels like it's shooting in the dark, trying to guess at what is important. This is reminiscent of the "Cognito, ergo sum" argument, Descartes' argument: I can only be certain of my own consciousness, since everything in the world and everyone else's actions reach me through my senses, I may infer a material world exist and that other being possess consciousness and self-awareness, but ultimately, I have no proof. The only thing I can be certain of, then, is my own existence. AI and AGI might very well be misnomers, at this point in time... a ghost in the machine.

Except that isnt "intelligence". That's not how Earth organisms thinking processes work, not even humans. Human intelligence works more like commonly thought of machine "intelligence" works. Humans and other animals are born with preset features and limitations according to the species. Hence, a Human has different capabilies than a Dog. However, as both are advanced Placental Mammals, it's more a difference in thinking power of degree, rather than kind. Anyway, a being's level of intelligence is based on a number of fixed, limiting factors. However, in short, all animals have hard wired behaviors, we call "instincts", how Birds build nests, have species specific mating rituals, as animals, Humans also have instincts such as toddlers trying to walk on their back legs as Bipeds, or Cis Males desiring to breed with Cis Females, and vice versa. Human intelligence is also about the ability to absorb/memorize knowledge necessary for survival during the prolonged childhood. Pure memorization and retention here, no need for innovation of any sort. Humans, like other organisms have a limited capacity for innovation, to adapt to an unusual situation that is beyond what they were taught, which vary between individuals. Some people and most other organisms aren't very adaptable at all, so they respond by either being defeated by the new challenge, or retreat from it as they are unable to think outside the box sufficiently. That is the intelligence you are describing as "intelligence" but it's more akin to "innovation"/"inventiveness" something most Humans and almost all other thinking organisms are are very lacking in.

If you live for work, now's a good time to think about why that is and what you'd like to learn/study/work on if you didn't have to work to pay your bills.

I understand that people need time to adjust, however we shouldn't take too long developing AI and end up stagnating as usual. It's time to speed things up and get to a better world now, not later. Everybody just needs to get with the program and stop prioritizing their short-term psychological comforts over reality. Let's make a better world NOW before it's too late. Have a sense of urgency, this is an important part of our own development as a species. Being cautious doesn't mean move like a slug.

I think video argument pro these ai devices are erroneous. when the hardware reaches a point in the future for the device to make sense, it will still not make sense to buy these devices instead of a smartphone accessory that is just a camera, microphone and projector offloading the software and processing to be done by the phone wirelessly. it will reach the desired result cheaper

ya people that complain about it in it's current state need to understand that current is very temporary and what we don't see is much better. if AI also switches to a decentralized state =, how could we ever shut it down/control it if things go wrong? there won't be a one and done solution if it is setup like crypto for example. So, many weird variables and potentials. fascinating but still spooky.

ALL AI needs to do is to play the game of "Reality" in Reverse VR live streaming mode in multimodal mode. Yes you will need true DNA corrupting 5G and a secure bidirectional trained interface that is "self" aligned such that it can predict and/or complete the train of thought/argument in predetermine code/short hand.

They're not blind of the likeminded majority American or uk religious beliefs yet they always deflect away from it and answer to someone else's fears into the machine away from the human. The tool or weapon used to form such a beast is nothing without the evill oligarch behind it. It's the mainline christian fear that the secular and greater world at large will begin to worship it daily ad if it is godlike. In many ways we already ritually practice it Dailey all day. In someway you could say we are primed for such an event in some circles. It is the very tradition that invented mechanics methods. That unlock the keys to all We've built so it does garner some knowledge it has explored this topic since. Esoterica America is founded with this computational hierarchy horizon in mind.

Nah the Humane AI pin is not it, and it never will be. Interaction with it is purely analogue and obtrusive. Who wants to publicly share a two-way conversation with a device anywhere they're not completely alone? I knew that thing was dead on arrival the moment I saw the announcement - bless Marques Brownless for confirming that conclusion so quickly.

@@arthurkang2786 For sure but even then...why? When I'm wearing my AirPods I can just ask Siri. Yes Siri is as next-to-useless as the pin, but that's this summer's upgrade away.
