Some of the problems you have are from playing on a phone and not on a larger screen. I think it's a seriously underrated game for English-speaking communities. Unfortunately it's hard to find the community on touch but don't give up because once you find one you'll be good. Very fun game.

Solely ankama fault and not the games. They are fine with their french only community, ironically the frenchcommunity isnt happy with ankama either. So its really not a suprise that mmo genre is dying or atleast ankama games seem to be dying because of this. Also they allow bots or atleast, multiaccount which tbf is similar which makes nullifies the mmo part honestly

Its not underrated its just hidden. If Eu, asia and US would play hide and seek the french would be the only one to find wakfu.

Like your reviews! Somehow reminds me of an game reviewer many years back that unfortunately discontinued being around games and his channel. Very solid content and brings in a good feels towards the game that's being reviewed.

Wakfu/Dofus has always been a mystery to me I've been wanting to solve for years. Here's hoping I sit down through this man's videos and FINALLY figure out what the hell are the differences and which I should play. Never even heard of Waven before so I guess it goes into the list of problems to solve. lol

Dofus = their mainline game. Gets the most updates, has the most classes. Simplest of combat. Wakfu = successor to dofus (least it was supposed to be). Nearly all the same classes but plays a bit differently. Nearly plays the same as Dofus with some quality of life features like easier to dungeon access, teleporting and ease of access. Waven = 3rd successor to Dofus. Plays like a mobile game with bite sized content. Doesn’t have an open world, everything is instanced.

@@VagrantVideos Wow thanks for the reply. I think Dofus is the one I'll check but after watching your video, I'm gonna check Waven just a tiny bit first. The idea of it being a bit of a "card based system" of sorts makes me tingle, having grown up with games like Baten Kaitos and Lost Kingdom something about getting a hand and having to make the best of it sounds very fun to at least try first. Thank you!

I think one of the main benefits of dofus touch over the pc client and why u would want to play it on an emulator or something is the f2p gap. last time i checked on dofus the f2p players are locked into the first area while dofus touch you can explore everything f2p. which is wierd when waven is crossplay so its like they have the capability to make dofus crossplay as well they just chose not too

The game looks awesome, but after about an hour of gameplay, I felt very overwhelmed and un-installed it. I'm still very tempted to install it again.

I recently came across your channel and I think you do good videos. Considering that you like sandbox RPGs and classic games, I think you should do one on Ultima Online (not private servers). It is, if not the first, one of the first sandbox RPG games to hit the market and was my first MMO. Atlantic is the most populated server, and is where you should start if you do make a video on it. I don't currently play and haven't in MANY years, but it was my first MMO experience in like 2002 or 2003. Been a while. I'm waiting for them to launch their version of seasonal servers coming sometime this year (most likely the anniversary at the end of summer).

I’ve wanted to do Ultima Online for a very long time but just haven’t had the time or support to do so. If I was a full time content creator I’d be able to but currently I just try and do what I can, Really appreciate you checking out things though, hopefully when I cover it, I don’t get a ton of things wrong lol.

Dofus Touch is the previous version of the PC game. They updated the PC game to a new design etc and they migrated the pc game to mobile making it Dofus Touch 👌🏻 It is Dofus PC before Dofus PC becane what it is today. Or was, at it has then started getting updates that were specific to this mobile game. Let’s just say they hatched from the same egg.

I tried playing it when it first released, but I just couldn't get it to not set my phone on fire. It's not a bad version, but it just wasn't for me.

Yeah, emulating would be the way to go but at that point just play normal Dofus lol

Hi, you still could play on WSA (Window Subsystem For Android) or emulator (BlueStack). According to the terms of use of Ankama, it's completely forbidden however, they just can't detect Dofus Touch app if it's launched from playstore and so if you just pretend to play on real android device but actually play on PC, no one will know it and you won't get banned. My friends are playing for more than 2 years with this method and I for 3 months and none of us got banned. (even after one week in the new servers, none are banned) So you can enjoy the game on PC. The problem is finding info about it. Google brings up Dofus wiki and the info is not accurate for touch. Example it took me almost 2hrs to figure out how to ride my mount, thats just ridiculous you should be able to equip it and ride it but no you have to find public stables which aren't where the dofus wiki says they are. And thats just one example its not at all new player friendly and the new servers already seem dead. Shame because i want to like the game. If i didn't i wouldn't have soent 2hrs figuring the mount system out.

cross play sound like a good idea but I think it is actually really bad because of the inputs 😆 most people could not play the xelor from official on touch

Your better off getting a mini keyboard and mouse and play screen mirror while your not home its a bad vs of thr pc version

your first point is the reason i wont be playing it. Its already way more awkward on phone then pc, so i would only be playing it when i cant get to my laptop. If it was cross play id be playing my account and definitely would be playing touch, but the fact its an entirely new game, i wouldnt have enough time where i cant just play the pc version that would make this worth downloading. also the classes are different? for whatever reason lol

They aren't like SUPER different. Its just like they have slightly different stats in their abilities but their gameplay is largely the same.

I can’t access the discord link. It takes me to ‘download discord’ which I have it downloaded. I click on the link to download the discord then it just opens the app up normally but doesn’t follow up with the link?

I played it years ago, it was good playing in the starting area (training area). but after you go down to the "world" the tasks/quests are overwhelming... i didn't know what to do 1st... so I quit.

wakfu was my main game for 2 years. till they ruined the game with that stupid patch which made the game 9 billion times easier to get items and craft relics.
