Not only is Dimash THE greatest vocalist of ALL time, he is also the most humble of human beings! This was 6 years ago, you should hear him today! He now has a range of over 7 octaves and the most beautiful baritone voice. Of course his higher registers are still as beautiful as ever! He sings in all genres and is brilliant in all of them! He sings in 13 languages and can now speak English without the aid of a translator. He is an excellent composer and a multi-instrumentalist. He was 23 here, on May 24th 2023 he will be 29 years old. The internet has given us some amazing gifts. Dimash is definitely one of them for me too. 2 years ago when I first heard Dimash on this song I thought the same thing. "Wow, Kazakhstan?" I've listened to a few reactioners over the last couple years doing Dimash; you guys are going to be a FUN to watch on your trip to Dimashland. Olympico or Stranger is probably your next trip. Seriously you cannot go wrong. Most every song is a jaw dropper. Dimash is already a living legend. It's hard to imagine hearing better vocals than her. He is the world's best vocalist of all time. Humble, kind person. Many surprises await you. Because its possibilities are unlimited. I was lucky enough to attend his concert in Düsseldorf, Germany. Even today I feel like I'm in a dream. He is a fire on the stage and spent until the end. His voice is incredibly beautiful. I consider myself happy because I attended Dimash's period and listened to him live at least once. I am 73 years old. The Sci fi movie with the singing goes on amid a fight...is called the Fifth Element with Chris Tucker and Bruce Willis. Check out the alien song. Dimash sings it. For the film the needed computer modulation and a couple singers. It's called Diva Dance. Dimash does Diva Dance live at Bastau. It is the best version. Although others are each impressive in their own right. Great reaction guys. The song was taken from the 1970's French musical Starmania. The hero finds his girlfriend shot dead by the bad guys and he is singing out his agony over her body. He wonders why he is still alive, what is the point of living, he says he's never felt grounded on earth, he feels uncomfortable in his own skin, he wonders if it's better looking down at it from above like a bird, then he feels waves coming at him from another world and it's calling him 'upwards'. His last words in the song are to her: 'sleep child sleep'. This is a song about what it's like to be human, and it's Dimash's calling card. Some people call him an alien, some people call him a unicorn, but he is 'just this guy, ya know'. He is dedicated to his art, hard working, kind, humble and respectful. I think you need to see more. Welcome to the world of Dimash 🤩 His fans are called Dears btw, and I suspect your channel will be discovered very quickly by this amazing bunch of people from every country in the world. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize your so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired.
