George...you make us feel like your friends and we are walking around with you...I just love the air,,,I love it so much that I can smell the more damp and see the usually still cooler and less constant little loud summer storms of here and I can smell the expo and all the fun doll and antique and vintage and motorhome and home and garden shows I went to over the years......just the gentle rain and the wondrous summers,,,and in Feb. the flower and Garden show in Seattle...it is just soooo much easier there to have just the right amount going on and still not a big big city...and I am so glad that besides all the recent news, you are giving my 21 year and hope to be back chosen home some love. This is just wonderful...booths styles and everything I still remember and LOVE..thanks so very much..this is survival to me...oh I wonder if your Shelley friend is same one I remember...I go mad over china, porcelain and glass..the big Basket plate at the French booth..LOVED IT.

Seeing the USS Missouri sign reminded me of when the ship came through Astoria, OR. There were so many people in town that traffic was at an absolute standstill. It was near impossible for the ambulances to get through. What a wild time! Thanks again for reminding me of old memories and for another great video!

The USS Missouri Memorial is in Pearl Harbor. I had the honor of walking on her deck and sitting in the commander’s chair and standing on the spot where the treaty to end the war was signed.

I love the atomic era fabrics I never fail to be impressed with your knowledge We never really ‘did’ Halloween in the U.K. apart from dressing up and going trick or treating We didn’t have all the excessive decorations until slowly the American influence came over perhaps 25-30 yrs ago and now it’s all over And I have never watched an episode of the Simpsons!

Interesting that halloween decor has taken off there! The Simpsons were fun when I was younger, I haven't watched in awhile

Good evening, George! Those inkwells are fantastic. I'm still into those things. The Apache baskets are something I really like. I tend to like the Apache designs more so than most of the others. Several years ago, I bought several friends old radios from the 1903s and 40s as Christmas gifts. I have an old cathedral type one. I actually have the Tom and Jerry Wade figures, along with a complete set of the Nursery Rhyme figures. I used to have an Avant Garde Marilyn Monroe mag. I sold it for $50.00...might have sold it too cheap. That Eros would be a nice one to have. Every time I see one of the Barrister's bookcases, I wish I was there to get it. I liked that Buster Brown sign. I have a child's Buster Brown tea set that I really like. I wish I still had the Kachina dolls I used to have. I bought eight or nine of them, at a flea market...years ago...for $1.00 each. I sold them several years ago, though...don't even remember what I got for them. Those French candelabra are fantastic! Heisey is my favourite, as far as clear glass. Their glass was so exceptionally clear. That statue, behind you at the end, really caught my eye. Was it bronze? That looked to be a fantastic show!!! I'd really enjoy going to a show like that!!! Thanks for showing us about!!!!!

There's something very charming about the hand painted porcelain dinnerware. I think the imperfectness is what makes it special. Wonderful show George.
