Would you be able to advise me on my Royal Doulton figurine collection? Over 40+yrs I have collected over 150 pieces, many signed by Michael Doulton. I have been told that the resale is very low. I have paid as much as $1000.00 (cad) for some of these. I'm closer to 70yrs old, no children, none of my nieces and nephews want them nor do they want my service for 24 China service. Where could I go before it has to be donated to the thrift store at my church. At least I can get a tax receipt from them. I've been told that the market is flooded with it right now.
@TheAntiqueNomad2 жыл бұрын
Sadly, that's true, Royal Doulton overproduced in the 1990s for their self-made Collectors' Club and killed their own market. More unusual pieces do still sell on eBay for good money, although not near what they once did. You could also try consignment with a local shop if they seem trustworthy
