"X's behind me and circles to remind me of all this broken time" = The X's on a calendar from past days and the circles of the present day, which reminds him he's stuck doing nothing.. John Mayer. You sir, are a lyrical genius.

And the most amazing thing about john’s music is; live it’s even better. He has to fit it in to record on the recording when it has a mind blowing entro and extended live solos🤯🤳🏼⭐️ best live show I’ve ever seen in Las Vegas

I'm a die hard John Mayer song so dont take this the wrong way- but I'm actually very glad John changed his career when he did. I feel like if he continued down a path like this he could have been drastically caught up in pop rather then a genre that is timeless. So rather than looking at it like a career suicide, maybe it is just the opposite. Not to say I dont love this song though! How could you not like anything the man touches?!

Mayer's like the Renaissance man of music! so amazing! makes you want to dance all day & night! :)

This is such an amazing piece of musical perfection at its finest. Love It! I love you John Mayer you are truly my favorite artist.

Youre either not a big Mayer fan or you haven't listened to the album enough. Everything new sounds bad when you compare it to what you know but after a couple listens of the new album it'll start to feel like old JM

Music is the universal language. Listening to John's music takes me too a place where I'm at Peace, within my world. I've been listening to Great guitarists for more years than I care to remember and standing at the top today is John Mayer. When John, Steve and Pino play together, they're so good it's scary.

The most amazing man alive. I am so glad he is recovering and is coming back. I don't know how I would get through without his music and him. I don't get why he gets such a bad rep. He is not what people say at all. He has an amazing soul!!!!

I LOVE JM and I have since Room for Square can out! I think he is brillant and who cares about his personal life, people really need to move past that aspect of him; who in the music industry isn't cocky, if I was as talented as him, I would be too. This song is brillant and is making me SO very excited for his new album, whenever that may be coming out.

I like the fact that Mayer keeps trying new things. Personally, I don't think it's not nice. It's kinna groovy but so not Mayer's groovy. Like he says that by the time he lays the bread crumbs for us to see and take in, he's already gone!! :)

Have you ever noticed the look that comes over Meyer when he's playing a killer solo? I swear when I see this that he's having an outer body experience, his playing goes to another level. A good example of this [Voodoo Child at Red Rocks] this solo is from another universe trust me, you will be transported to another realm.

This is a David LaBruyere (John's former bass player) song on Dayla's CD. This was never going to be on Paradise Valley , Born and Raised or any Mayer CD , it's like 5 or 6 years old.
