I recently am slowly building of my supplies and tools for sticker making... mainly to test out and figure it out before officially producing the final ones to sell. I'm trying not to rush to sell 😢 but it's so tempting. Last year I finally got my epson printer ET-3850, ipad and this year I found an awesome deal on the portrait 2 for $65!! Some day I will upgrade :) I never heard of this tech sticker sheets and will hopefully get the chance to try them out!!! Ty for this!

Depending on the paper you use it will require less blade depth. For example, the one I use requires depth of 3 to cut all the way through and depth 2 if I only want to cut the top layer.

Really good question on a touchy subject. First is always do our own research about copyright and come up with our own conclusion based from the facts. All I can say is here in the Philippines, the fan culture (and fan art culture) is very big and so many fans themseves ask for these kinds of products since the products they want are not accessible, too expensive or they want the artist to feature those in their own art styles. For me there is a difference between straight out copying the photos and characters vs. making a fanart of them in their own unique styles because they genuinely just want to make them. But clearly, the copyright law remains a law regardless. I think many artists and business struggle with this situation a lot. There are also many art and sticker conventions and events where fans gather and make anime fanarts and merch, which is the same thing with kpop, celebrity, movie, book, and pop culture fan art. There are many who just make these things because of genuine support for the celebs, anime (etc.) and want them to be accessible to more people. I personally make fanart to show support, but I also know the awful feeling of people copying my own work and reproducing them. So, I would make it clear if something I made was fan art or an original work, and it was not intended to infringe on copyright. This is also the reason why we only have very few fanart in our shop (and they were highly requested by the viewers), and we often just use them as freebies. That’s all the response I can give for now with how I see things at this moment :) My thoughts may change in the future, but the law remains a law. Thanks for asking that question! @@TheArtofMar I have seen a lot of videos of people (mostly US) who encourage others to start a Shirt business with taking celeb/athletes pics, printing them and selling them for way more. It always baffles me how apparently easy the subject of copyright is outside of Europe. Not sure if I like it though, if I was a celeb, knowing that businesses make money off of me and my work, no matter if they are a fan or not. Normally, there is a personal right on a (e.g.) picture but of course the photographer/Creator has the copyright. If your comment is a reply to someone from Germany, my suggestion would be: hands off copywritten work and create something original. It can get really expensive if a lawsuit is filed...

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for watching, we appreciate your support 💛 About sa question niyo, actually depende po yan sa printer settings, ink na gamit niyo at paper quality. Not sure po kasi kung anong printer gamit niyo. Pero try setting it up po sa ultra glossy settings and try niyo po sa different sticker papers, cardstocks and photopapers. Better po pag matry niyo first hand.Yung 3-in-1 printer lang po kasi namin ay canon g2010 and pwede naman po siya pang journal stickers, pero di namin ginagamit pang artprint kasi nagfefade yung dye ink niya.

Look it up, the laws are plain and simple, you may only use a photo for educational purposes, if your photo even resembles the original photo you can get slapped with a lawsuit. I suggest you look up “fair use” to get the real answer. Everyone does it but they can all get sued easily. If they see your stickers even resemble the original photo, it’s theft

Hi! It depends on how much you are willing to produce and spend I think, and also if you plan to do it short term vs long term. But here are the advantages and challenges of each (what I can think of now) a) making it at home: -- you can produce the exact number of products you want / no over production -- products are always available in case your products get sold out -- you can test print as much as you want -- quality is dependent on the materials you have and settings you use -- perfect for you if you plan to do it full time and you have no other commitments -- individual products will cost less vs when you outsource x sticker production can take much time, like reallyyy no joke x if you don't have the equipment on hand, you will have to buy them and they may cost a lot b) outsourcing: -- quality is usually excellent already -- saves you so much time, so this is perfect if you're a busy person or have other priorities -- cheaper production since you do not need to buy equipment, x but the individual products will cost more since you have to make patong on the price hehe x some have minimum order quantity x your products may get overproduced, so if some products do not sell, you just keep them in stock There are more of course, but now these are all I can think of. Hope this helps! If any sticker maker / seller is reading this, maybe you can help us haha
