Alex understands that this is a complicated game and just needs to be simplified...and that is what he’s great at, simplifying the game and techniques that make this sport enjoyable.

Very helpful. I practice regularly but get "tennis elbow" in my lead arm, but can't figure out if it is technique or the ravages of age.

It could be a little if both in your golf swing. Perhaps too much tension and hitting AT the golf ball rather than swinging through. But don’t overlook the way you sleep, if bending elbow on your side. I may do a video on this as it effected me and many others I hear from and students. Also, practicing off mats a lot can.

This describes me in every way. I am almost convinced it is the way I sleep, with one arm underneath my head and pillow, bent at the elbow of course

"cramped" is perfect way to describe this fault. And I didn't realize I did it until I finally watched my swing on video.

Well I certainly hope this helps you. Let us know!

Any tips on how to train the torso to turn naturally Alex? In the anxiety the hands race away in the backswing often leaving the torso behind and you know any swing without a full torso turn is always going to end up being handsy and rushed. Help

Ive learned that the real secret to golf is to practice every day. At least a little bit. And practice the right things, such as you are demonstrating right now.

You speak the truth my friend... well almost. Practice is key, but it's wasted time going in circles if you pursue a "perfect" swing model and position. Feel, instinct and sound mechanics that enable you to respond to the shot, be it a drive, iron, wedge or putt. Keep at it!
