I thought I was going OK until Dru Blair and Ryan Barkley worked as a tag team and shattered my self confidence, and I won’t be called a liar openly on FB - that has now been binned. My advice to anyone would be to stick to the best like you and Rob (Dred FX) and don’t waste your hard earned money.

@@Cyril-eu4gf Don't let anyone try to bring you down, Cyril. Art is one of the few and rare things that can be used to lift others up- never to be used to bring others down. W. Faulkner had a good one on this and said that "art need not merely be the record of man, it can be one of the props, the pillars to help him endure and prevail." That is what it's all about. Just keep painting! 🙂

Ciao. Ho una domanda da farti a cui puoi rispondere solo tu. Quando dipingevo ad olio con le velature riuscivo ad ottenere una trasparenza dell'acqua quasi verosimile. Credi che si possa fare anche con l'aerografo? Se si hai qualche suggerimento? Grazie

Yes, glazing transparent colors with an airbrush is something I do all the time. I would suggest painting a small study, something simple like a still life of an apple and try using transparent reds to glaze over the underpainting.
