@@davidhamilton6612 even if it were i don't think they would skip half of the officer ranks in one jump. It would at most probably be from captain to lieutenant Colonel, skipping the rank of Major. Not to 2 star Major General. Also Murdock had been in a mental ward so it's highly unlikely that he would have actually been in combat after being committed.

They're not "impersonating" military officers, per se, they are military personnel. Murdock particularly is a captain, technically the second highest rank on the team, although Peck usually takes over second-in-command duties.

True but Murdock's actual rank is Captain (O-3) and he is wearing the uniform of a 2 star General (O-8). This is well above his actual pay-grade so he could still be charged with impersonation since he never reached the rank that he is presenting himself as here.

Good Sunday afternoon and an outstanding video post. You started off perfectly. The Season 4 episode of "Body Slam" is one of my all-time favorite episodes of The A-Team. H. M. Murdock (Dwight Schultz) is one of my all-time favorite actors. So too was the late Lance LeGault. Especially his role as Colonel Roderick Decker USMP (United States Military Police). He had the perfect exchange in the first sequence you showed. That really hypes me up because it was so well done. It made a great episode because of Hulk Hogan and the various WWF legends in this episode with him even greater. The episode interstingly enough would become a movie "Body Slam" in 1987 which starred Actor Dirk Benedict (A-Team Templeton 'Faceman' Peck) and late Actress Tanya Roberts (That 70s Show). Actor and surviving Addams Family alum John Astin (Gomez Addams) is also in that movie.
