I got 2 Mexican work buddies who are brothers and are snake charming God believers. One of them had his food stolen from the fridge at work . Both brothers were certain it was me but said it's not a big deal that if I did not have any food, I could've just asked and they would've gave me some. I confess to one of the brothers it was me and although he was disappointed, he was just happy I confessed. A little while later, the manager pulled up the security footage in the kitchen and saw that someone else had open the fridge, drop the food and threw it away.. The two brothers were confused, because Alex had just confessed with his testimony that he was the one to eat the food . When they asked me about it again, I told'em that I wanted to prove to them that their "INTUITION" abt' someone's testimony that supports their faith..does NOT lead to TRUTH!

Listening to them point out that he prayed first and already had a concept of the Abrahamic God, so it's not surprising or convincing that he came to the conclusion that it was God, was like a lightbulb. All through my church years, they take about planting seeds in people. That's why it's so important to share with non believers. So when these people have these moments, their brain goes through things they've heard and finds and explanation that feels good. I had that moment. I can describe it exactly. But now I understand the brain chemistry and reasons why I laughed on to specific things I had been told. Wanna know what would be really convincing? If someone tried to pray to the God of whatever they were just familiar with, and had an experience that convinced them this other God or religion was actually true. Or at least, that the one they were praying to was sung and that they needed to seek out the truth and everyone who had these experiences of being broken and crying out earnestly, were all eventually led to the same conclusion, regardless of what assumptions, biases, or indoctrination they began with.

If anyone claims that they do know then they are deluded or are being dishonest, probably both. In saying that, it is almost infinitely more LIKELY that the universe and life originated naturally and wasn't poofed into existence by some omnipotent entity from another dimension. Pretty much every isolated civilisation on earth has made up its own myths and legends regarding origins. It is human nature to make stuff up when we don't have all the facts and Christianity is no different. Here's what a Dunning-Kruger theist (PaulK) said about Genesis: "Time, space, & matter all had to come into existence at once. You cannot have one without the other. Without space, there wouldn’t be any matter. Without matter, there cannot be time. Genesis 1:1 gives us this exactly 1. In the beginning (time) God created (matter) the heavens and the earth (space)" He's someone who can't tell biochemistry from physics. So he doesn't understand that matter (in the form of energy within the singularity) existed before spacetime (as these are inextricably linked). So Genesis had it wrong, naturally since bunch of goat herders wouldn't know about this. Had they known, they would have said that their god created heavens and the earth (energy/matter) and then he started the universe (time). Yet, these dumdums will keep talking about how the Bible described the big bang even before scientists learned about it.

Either NOTHING created EVERYTHING from NOTHING or God created EVERYTHING from NOTHING. Which is IMPOSSIBLE and which is exponentially more plausible? Oh btw, the universe couldn't come from nothing by nothing to do nothing, because the 2nd law forbids all gain of complexity.
