I've been making a Kuroinu RPG Fanfic for the past 7 years now called Kuroinu: Rebellion Where you play as one of Vults Soldiers who said "Corruption Bad, Vanilla Good' and giving all the ladies abit more Brain cells. And YES the Game dose go over the battles in better detail. I also did my best to make the ladies as accuarte to the VN as possible though SOME changes needed to be made to get the plot moving (otherwise it'd be dead on arrival). The Order of ladies goes in the order of the H Anime adapatation so Origa, Chloe, Alicia, Prim, Maya, Lulu, Kaguya, Claudia and Celestine in that order. And yes being a H story theirs H in the RPG as well but unlike the VN YA GOT TO EARN IT by well being a good person or favoring the ideals of one of the ladies more so then the others with TONS of choices for your blank slate character to take. Currently as of Ver 2.9.2 The Story goes all the way up to Kaguya's Fortress with Origa, Chloe, Alicia, Prim, Maya, and Lulu as Party memebers Currently theirs 2 H Scenarios with just Origa and Chloe (As they were the most popular) Some Artwork is in the process of overhaul and has not been updated yet so SOME SCENES are going to look bad due to bad art. Which if you wanted to see the upscaled art I can post links here If your intrested I'll post a link to the Game, So if you liked Kuroinu but wasnt a fan of the excessive dark stuff, you may enjoy Rebellion more.

Doesn't really seem that gruesome to me, I dunno. I have read far more horrifying vns back in the day. Example 1: MinD DeaD BlooD. a classic vampire story of a man who fell victim to a vampire and became one himself. Unlike many vns of vampires this one actually does focus on sucking blood. It has many endings, I remember getting all of them. You can retain the protagonist's humanity or you can go around looking for your victims. Thus it's one of few vns that has an evil route. The vn is fully voiced including the protagonist and side characters. IMO, this is one of the best vns about vampires Example 2: Extravaganza Mederu Shoujo. It's a dark fantasy story of a girl, who has fallen in love with a tenticle monster , she has joined a secret organization battling other monster users. It's an action filled vn with gruesome bloody scenes and descriptions. I don't remember the details since it has been many years since then

Well to be fair, the more riskier fantasy content, I very obviously didn't show, but it's still in here. Izumi Ban'ya, who's the writer for both of those VNs you mentioned, wrote half of the routes in Kuroinu.

The fact that you went out of your way to review this abomination of a VN is in itself an achievement my friend. I mean in a form of media that spawned both Euphoria and Rance, if tons of people have a problem with Kuroinu, then you know it did something right (WRONG!). Especially if another Absolute Legend went out of their way to make a fangame where the heroines avert there horrific fates.
