The Doggies Open Some Gifts from Followers, Lunchtime and Swimming

We are opening some of the parcels we’ve received from followers and supporters during lunchtime so that the doggies can help us and so that we can share with you all and say a really big thank you.
Today we opened parcels from Trudy and Jonathan in Queensland Australia, a parcel from New York and two boxes from Phillip in New Mexico.
Phillip is a veteran pilot from the US Navy and has written to us before. He says that he loves to send the doggies toys and watch them enjoy them. He has also sent some lovely gifts for the kids. Thank you very much Phillip. The doggies were ecstatic to open the boxes. Bandit was especially excited. He even got his very own bag of toys. There were squeaky pigs and Franky’s favourite squeaky balls. Freddo thought it was Christmas and Etta simply wanted a Luke hug.

I've just realised that Nala has remained in the pool (mostly alone) for the entire time - playtime, lunch, and the unwrapping of the presents. She is mind-boggling patient. It's cold, and standing on two feet can't be comfortable but Nala stays perfectly still as she continues to peer over the edge of the pool fixated on Luke as she anticipates his signal.

So many of the dogs have such unique personalities...the one that always plays ball in the water by hisself...bandit not wanting to go home, the one always taking Luke's hat, Violet sleeping and unusual way of being carried, the high jumper for the lure, Lily and her sticks, Etta and her leaps of faith, Fredo and his constant ball games, the twins looking after their new little brother, Cutie Pie and her motoring thru the water, the ones that play 'retrieve' with Bullet in the pool, the shepherd nannies, so many more...🥰🥰

I was watching Nala too - her head comes up like a periscope and then back down. Can’t think it could be cuter but then Sam goes to the Stafy sisters cuddling…… not only does Luke know every dog’s name but their favorite toy as well. When he statically dropped a toy in the pool and then proceeds to do the stratically derived dive to retrieve it immediately. I have watched him bend his body jumping in the pool.
