What a find…. We were expecting a pendpac but im pleased to know they have this now, and the driver said they got another similar one, which gives me the suspicion to think it is an ex Randwick!

When I first started seeing this truck I thought it might have been doing recycling in Randwick, but eventually I connected the dots and realised it was doing the horse shit run. Love the straight exhaust pipe on this truck with the flap on top, rarely see that on an ACCO. Glad you were able to get some driving shots in the second half of the video, not much going on between bins with this job otherwise. They must collect some serious tonnage here, none of those bins look light. Hearing that steady revving at 7:30 is telling me he can't accelerate, stupid auto revs get stuck on when the sensors play up... you can hear him turn off the system power and activate it again between bins so he can drive up the road normally.

Ah - yes - them Red Heavy Bins - another Great Truck and Action - always a Pleasure following Your Videos - You make them very Interesting and give us Variety as well ! Wow! Ain’t this an old relic, it looks as rusted as an old steam locomotive in the yard. And doesn’t look like they put much care into it either. But the rev not sounding while picking the bins up must be some sort of mechanical issue cause it is a gen v and it needs that rev so maybe they changed a few screws or something. Anyways what an awesome video!

This is actually a 2009 Iveco Acco, they were used in the 2009 to 2017 NAWMA contract with Sita/Suez and were in the process of being replaced around 2017 with the last of them being taken off of full time runs by 2018. ATSL150 is still in service with the other two spares having recently retired from service due to their gas tanks expiring, I think ATSL150 will most likely be retired by either November or December 2023.
