Best Mountain Bike Trails In Ohio?! | East Rim

I rode these last year. I was recommended these trails by some riders at the Hampton Hills trails, which was pretty much my first time mountain biking. I'm still a beginner (haven't rode for ages), and I could barely clear some of those jumps on the short trail. The long trail is a blast too. I had to walk my bike through the rock garden haha. People will never realize how legit stuff like biking and skiing can get in Ohio.

Did this trail today with my 12 year old son and his friend only my second year biking. This is definitely the most fun you can have and not being overly difficult. I walked the rock gardens also. We were going to West Branch park which is fun but this trail is so much faster which to me is more enjoyable.

I walk the rock garden too my friend! Parts of it at least. I can’t go over large rocks unless I have some momentum. I’m gettin old! Lol

i rode tonight on 'east rim': on my scratch-built full-ridgid trek. im 55 and it was totally enjoyable even in mild wet conditions and fullridgid bike. ifke up and started with high pressure in tires and seat high....i fell down twice and then aired down and slammed seat low...it all worked out after that. one of the best and scenic trails i have ridden in the US

I love your enthusiasm for the technical trails! There are lots to be had in the region if you know where to look. As mentioned in a previous comment, check out West Branch State Park on the Southside trails and Quarry Trail. Also consider exploring PA, WV, and NY for some gnar. Thanks for sharing - your love for biking came through loud and clear 🤘🏼

If you like rocks check out West Branch in Ravenna, Ohio. Quarry Trail is two miles of rock garden.
