Some of us work from home and while it may take 3-4 hours to listen to the whole thing between meetings, we are here for it!! Even though this was aimed at men as a female I still got so much from this episode. I’m almost 90 days sober from alcohol and your dive into psalm 101 really spoke to me. I called my sponsor to share your insight and it also blessed her in a specific way that only God could facilitate. Thank you.

Sam thank you so much for your vulnerability. For the longest time I held myself captive over the wrong things I had done that hurt people I truly loved and cared about. I am mad late to this party/podcast. As a woman, this episode made my heart smile. I am in prayer that my father, brothers, nephews, Godsons, and man cousins find themselves in circles such an intentional centering on GOD as this circle has thus far exhibited in Jesus's name. Obviously, I want the same for all my loved ones and Christ-anchored fam, but a focus from time to time per subgroup can do immeasurable good for the distinct intricacies in our experiences and temper us for working in the interdependent manner intended by our Creator. Y'all don't need my confirmation, but I'ma type it anyhow: the Holy Spirit is all up and through y'all and this platform. 🖤💪🏾

❤️❤️❤️The Basement 🔥🔥🔥 I do have an observation and an ask. Things in culture have nothing to do with attending or being part of public schools. Pastors are saying it daily like there is truth to it. IT’S NOT!!! People everywhere start these dumb fads of glizzy…not a public school teacher or public school student. This is another division in the kingdom that if something happens in culture, public school is at fault. PLEASE STOP!!! It hurts parents and kids in the public school system and sends the message that somehow we are less than, not holy, tainted goods in the church. I am a parent of a public school teacher as well as a public school student. These trends start in all kinds of people including those who attend church every day. Thank you BASEMENT TEAM 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️

I’ll be 33 next month and I remember the hot dog, popsicle, and banana thing starting when I was in middle school/high school. We didn’t have a term like “glizzies” for it, but the results were the same for guys as far as bullying was concerned. But for us girls, the guys would try to tell us to eat slower and lick slower. I never participated in that, it really bothered me for both guys and girls that this was happening. It wasn’t funny, it was gross and uncomfortable. I hate that it now has a term and is continuing, and yet I’m not surprised in the slighted.
