Everybody forgets one fact, that Jason after the important album openers like Hit the Lights, Fight Fire and Battery written by James, suddently joins the band and writes the opening riff for the Blackened, the opening track of their most succesfull and intricate metal album to date

I have always been a fan of Metallica's theme (on the first 4 albums) of their fast #1 track songs. This and 'Hit The Lights' are by far my favorite. Just straight thrash and fast! Justice was served on this rendition!!

No pedals. Just straight in to the Microtubes 900. Drive at 10 o’ clock, Blend at about 3 o’ clock, Tone and Level straight up. Bass at about 2 o’ clock, Low Mids (500Hz) about 10 o’ clock, High Mids (3kHz) about 2 o’ clock, Treble straight up. Running through a DG410C with a Shure Beta 52 up close.
