I like that he went thru all the gadgets and explained how they worked! The instruction book is so confusing, esp the pics. This vid helped me adjust the bottom to edge.

I was just about to return mine. Had spent some time trying to figure out how to change it to edger. Manual did not help, nor Amazon tech help, who connected me to Black and Decker help line. No one said anything about pulling. So glad I saw this video. So simple and clear.

Oh my gosh. Your my hero. I've been trying to figure out how to use my electric Black+decker as a trimmer forever. It never made sense to me(I'm new at lawn care). I've looked up so many videos. And I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of my neighbors.. lol. Finally now I know. Thank you!!!

not really, I wanted to see how the easy feed feature worked because every time I press the grey button to feed outy extra line, the head stops rotating as if I'm applying a brake to the motor. Should it just be done in short bursts?

your in the dog house. I was wondering about the string advance. I have a corded B&D and it wastes line. I have to respool after 100 ft or less of trimming. It uses a centrifugal force system. good review thanks.

That shaft adjustment lock will NOT turn. I am so frustrated and I don’t know what to do.

. I just checked mine. On mine you pull straight out first and then it allows you to turn.

does the EasyFeed cause the unit to brake and stop rotating in order to feed the line? mine does this and it seems very strange, and doesn't really work all that well. do I have a defective unit? am I doing something wrong?

that's exactly why I'm on this page. When I press the easy feed button the motor stops, and no line is extended. So far IMO this thing is a piece of crap. I should have known because B&D basically makes the crappiest stuff out there.

How long for the battery to charge and how long it lasts?

I charge the battery for about 4 hours. Mine lasts about 1 hour of work. I have 2 batteries so that I can rotate. Thanks, Chris
