it's really not that different. The different characters get their own personalised intro at the start, one of them gets killed off immediately just to prove the bombs are real (KGBeast/SlipKnot), Harley and Deadshot are the main focus of the team, Waller wants the squadto kill a former member that turned on her (Riddler/Enchantress), Joker has little screen time compared to everyone else. Only real difference is this one had more Batman in it, being an actual Batman film.

5:55 One sin that was off: Harley Quinn's the only one who gets sent to Arkham. Arkham is an asylum for the criminally insane. Deadshot, Boomerang and the rest are criminals who are fully aware of their doing so they get sent to BlackGate prison. Edit: Another sin that's wrong. Poison Ivy and Bane need to be by their shit or they'll get sick and wither. Bane needs to have a small dose of his serum because the withdrawal side-effects will royal fuck him up and basically leave him a drooling invalid until his next dose. He's basically a high-strung junkie that needs his pills. Poison Ivy starts to wither after a while if she's not by any plant life. Her cell is usually a giant bowl in the middle of the garden.

I think seeing Batman absolutely kick ass is part of what makes Assault on Arkham so great: Because he isn't the main character of the story (the Suicide Squad is) he doesn't have to be nerfed to extend drama; in fact, as he serves as an antagonist for the "Heroes", Batman being overpowered actually makes the stakes higher. Which is why the scene with Nigma's arrest is a good way to introduce and establish Batman as a considerable threat to the protagonists.

Considering all the traps that the Riddler usually sets, sending in a fully armed team of special ops agents is actually a good idea. The Riddler has lots of tricks up his sleeve, and they need to extract him quickly before either Batman or the Gotham PD show up. Yeah, yeah, we all know you have fight scenes. But screw it, we like to see our heroes kicking ass. Also, of course the Riddler would have a exit big enough for him in his lair so he can escape into it. He's the Riddler. Its not b******* that King Shark would survive given how strong he is. The Penguin is the source of all information moving around in the Gotham underworld. Of course he'd be their contact. Given they're all supervillains, and Deadshot in particular is an assassin for hire, it's not too far-fetched they'd show up in Gotham again. Because Captain Boomerang is an egocentric alpha male who won't admit anyone is better than him. You have been watching the movie right? You should catch on to that being his character quick if you were actually paying attention. Because if they're all arrested in put in Arkham, that makes it harder for them to break out. Since they'll all be under lock and key and monitered. Better some of them assume disguises and be in position at different parts of Arkham to break in. Also, Batman might get suspicious if all these supervillains show up and are sent to Arkham. Especially since only Harley is actually from Gotham. The others are all out of towners. Use your head. Harley just showing up with a bunch of cops without being called in first is suspicious. Why wouldn't the glass be bullet proof? And yes, considering what many of these inmates have done of course someone would try to take a shot at them. And machine guns are more unwieldly than blasters because...? Actually given how machine guns often shake when firing of bullets, I'd expect them to be more unwieldly than blasters. Why wouldn't Batman memorize all the staff at Arkham considering all the breakouts that happen there? Batman probably found the dead and wounded guards the Squad left on their way to the property room, and since he'd likely check that all the prisoners were still in their cells he'd deduce this wasn't a break out and that the Squad was going for the property room. You've been watching this movie for a while now. You should not have forgotten who Black Spider is. Maybe those brass knuckles are collapsable? Maybe you should do something critical thinking before writing something off as BS. Waller would still start to get suspicious if they keep making excuses. She's not stupid. Given the Joker's ego, YES. He would tell Batman what's going on just to rub it in. Ivy isn't kept in the garden, she just made her way there. Um, Joker goes toe-to-toe with Batman on a regular basis. Deadshot is skilled but not on the level of Batman. Joker holding his own against Deadshot in a fight isn't that far-fetched. One of the things about the Joker is he's a surprisingly good fighter. You mean why he's alive in the game. This is all a prequel to the Arkham Asylum game.

Well, considering the amount of staff *cough* Harley *cough* who wind up either manipulated or downright corrupted by the criminals, it does make sense to limit their interactions with the patients. For example, make sure no one staff member spends too much time with any one patient. It could be that maybe guard crew 1 works sector A on Thursday, and crew 2 works it on Friday. Since a place like Arkham doesn't exist in the real world, it would make sense for it to have different rules
