Amen brother! I drive 4 hours each way to fish one day at the port a jetties. Took me three trips to even get a bite! But I watched and learned just like you’re taking about. Whew... Im 62... and SP jettys use to have a concrete cap... if you look carefully on some cap remains on the center ganet blocks ... Back in 1975 first taken there...and then 1977-80 then 0n my own with Highs school buddys primairly sharking ... we would spend the whole extended weekend on the jettys.. two colman lanterns just can food. It was hard to find a crack, slot whatever..to jam our 4- 8' 2x4's for our tarp to make shade... and you had to be careful because some areas spot like a whale .. Man we could catch Blue runners on spoons... then take empty beer cans tape the opening w/ duct tape... pull out 6-8 ' of line on you 30lb class rig then use electrical tape to tape this beer can above your live hard tail and fling it out.... then keep letting out line.. set the clicker and drag... Whew... 20 min screamer... Ha I actually back the caught a kingfish.. .yes on a kingfish head on the my 9/0 penn senator on the bottom shark fishing...this was a big king and kept giving me shorts runs then stop...

Awesome video man next time try going to a place called the east cut its a jetty that requires you to drive the beach with 4x4 used to be a honey hole when i was little with my dad just drive through the last beach access and then drive down the beach there is a sunken shrimp boat as a half way point
