Crystal Ball Magic - Easy Beadweaving Tutorial at The Bead Gallery, Honolulu

This crystal ball is one of the easiest beadweaving projects that you can start with, and enjoy success from the very first one! All you need is 12 pcs. of 4mm bicone crystals (we used Swarovski for their quality and evenness of shape and faceting), 1 foot of clear line and scissors.
In seed beading, this is a double-needle right angle weave technique, but here we've simplified it with a clear line and your fingers :). We think you'll enjoy it!

I made it with 8mm Swarovski Lt. Turquoise , it's so pretty 😍 I get lots of comments when I wear it, I can't stop making them now, I'm trying all my favourite colours in the 6mm. I string 3 of them together on a chain 🤩🤩🙏

Great video, I have been wanting to try this type of bead. Are all of the ones that you made that are shown in the video 4mm?? I love the one that is on the silver hoop, are they 4mm's as well?? We did them in the video with 4mm bicones and yes you can do it with 3mm! You can also do them with mixed colors which makes them super cute! Good luck!

Why do you not use a beading needle? Also this technique is called right angle weave and you can do it with just one needle if it's more comfortable. I would also not recommend using real swarovskis with the thread you used here, or at least use a stronger thread. Crystals have sharp edges that can rip through the thread over time. Use fire line instead.
