Hello The Beard, with the obsidian weapons & armor you can drop them into water and it cools them off. You lose some durability but it prevents everything from catching on fire. Thanks The Beard & have a great day.

This is my entire story of dont starve in a nutshell C; If you wanna read it that is . . . Sad part is I dont think it's even my fault I'm pretty sure it's just bad luck . . . So this is how it always starts I spawn With like a flower, aaaaannndd a flint ... And if that wasn't bad enough, I ALWAYS spawn in between 2 killer bee hives . . . So theres that And so I run the entire map distance away cuz they chase me that far, and I try to collect some resources! Just to rarely find any . . . And when I do find my, 3 grass 2 sticks and one flint, night falls! I craft a torch! Its day! And I already lost half my health from the red-haired feminist if she could fly, half my sanity from the night, and half my hunger . . . . . . *ISNT THIS JUST FUUUUUN????* And so I manage to find a slimmer of food, manage to find the rare pokemon called a stick, and I make a axe! And so I slap a tree! And pop goes a lorax And he is so triggered he summons a hell spawn if it were slapped by mother nature And so I'm standing there... Looking at a tree guard that is mad, healthy, and ready to slap me SO HARD THAT I FLY TO SHIP WRECKED AND BECOME THE WHOLE STORY OF HOW SHIP WRECK EVEN STARTED... ... And as any sane person would with only a axe, like, 2 carrots, half my health, and a berry, I run!!! And It becomes dusk I manage to get wood via axe I made from the slimmer of tiny trees around me, start a fire right as night falls, manage to fuel it with like 2 twigs, and I cook all my food I go insane And like 4 nightmares spawn around me, and I only have a Cooked berry, like, 3 cooked seeds, 2 carrots I haven't even gotten to cook yet, a axe with 50% durability, and a fire that is basically gone cuz I spent time cooking And so, I get hit so hard by the nightmares that area 51 thinks I'm raiding them . . . [ eye twitches ] *REPEAT DAT FOR LIKE 17 GAMES AND THATS DONT STARVE FOR ME ;D* Lik if u cry everytim

I think it would be a good idea to use a obsidian sword on water to fight a tigershark or something like that, they would not catch fire and you still would have 100 and something of damage! (In my mind it could work out)

The gem sword To make it you need A blue gem, a red gem, a orange gem, a yellow gem, a purple gem, 2 refined wood, and 4 rope It has 2000 uses Deals 132 damage And heals you for 1 every second Is it OP or is it good for very advanced players?

No, it's too OP. And too easy to get. At that point the game would not be fun.

@@bobisnotaperson Well maybe have it only have 50 uses, it deal 80 or 75 damage but will slowly regen its uses over time? That seems a lot better Or having all the gems be like, 10 gems each, and like 15 refined wood and 20 rope and slowing you down when wielding it? Are those any better EDIT : now that I think of it, you probably cant hold 50 freaking gems [ 5 different types of gems ] and hold 15 refined wood and 20 rope all at one just to craft the thing Oh and I forgot to mention it can only be built in the highest tier of science or magic
