We Found Some Absolutely Incredible Things At This Farm Abandoned For 35 Years!!

This never before seen location Is a true time capsule.. 35 years completely stood still sadly after the owner lost his life in a terrible house fore here. This place Is as original as they come, as far as we are awear we are the first and hopefully the last people to have the privilege of having a look around this Incredible place! Cornwall has a massive farming Industry, the owner would of been extremely busy back in his day thats for sure! The place was so big I decided to beesk the video in to x2 parts!.... The mileage on the Chevette is reading 18,572. Production for the Chevette ended in 1984, so it could be a genuine low mileage car if it has been abandoned for 35 years.

A vauxhall shoveit is incapable of doing 100 000 miles , it was a shite engine developed back in the 30's to power very small generators and sheep shearing equipment or maybe a water pump but only 1 at a time !!!

That tractor is an International titan 10/20. Made around 1919. Most valuable item there. 20k to the right person.

At 8:20 that is not a traction engine but it is still an good find being an International 10-20 Titan, this model of tractor was produced between 1915 and 1922.

We went here back in 1990 when I first moved back on route to Cornwall. Funnily enough I was in my old Vauxhall Chevanne which was just an estate without side windows. As ever guys, kudos for never taking anything more than video and memories from these places.

I wonder what kind of Austin? DVLA shows it had the 1098cc engine, so it could have been an 1100 saloon, an Austin Van (based on the old Morris Minor), or an Austin Healey Sprite. All three are possible: The 1100 was a very cheap and common car at the time, the Austin Van would have been a good workhorse for the shop setting, and the presence of the Triumph TR3A suggests an enthusiasm for sports cars, not ruling out the Sprite.

That Land Rover Series IIA only ran out of tax in March 1994 when the rest of the house was abandoned years before that which is really strange.

Great video guys, some fantastic finds that really do need saving though. As already mentioned the reaction engine is in fact a titan tractor, I think in recall the titan and Landis from when the owner exhibited at the Dorset steam rally. He was a great engineer and if you do go back please PM me first as there is possibly a machine thatvyou missed lurking at the back after coming down from the upstairs area,past the valves and on the pan round I caught sight if it, I don't want to out too much on public eyes though,please feel free to PM me for more details thanks for the coverage, great work.

I have a 1955Pontiac Golden Chief,the hood ornament is an Indian Chief head that lights up gold color.My son took his date to Senior prom in it.I love all the chrome,just the front and back bumpers weigh 20pounds or more each.Really smoothe riding.,alsoa 19 93Chevy shortness pickup,standard transmission..love the older vehicles.Todays all look the same to me.and won't last as long.Olderbis easy to fix too.👍👍😍❤️🇺🇸

I checked the reg on the plate you found it’s off a 1971 BLUE AUSTIN 6 CWT VAN. It was last taxed in September 1983.

Chevette Estate production ran from 1976 until 1984, that one though is very rare. The 'E' version was only in production for two years (1980-1982).

Yes, you were completely wrong about that registration having come from a tractor. WCA 185 K belongs to a 1971 Austin 6CWT Van. I believe the 6CWT would refer to it's carry weight (like with 3500kg vans & 7tonne lorries) and as 1CWT = 8 stone or 112lb it's total capacity would be 672lb or 304.8kg. It was first registered on 22nd November 1971, was blue with a 1098cc petrol engine. It's last tax ran out on 31st August 1983 & the last V5C was issued on 28th March 1983. The Black Vauxhall Chevette Estate XNT818Y is a 1982 1256cc Petrol though interestingly it's coming back saying that it was first registered on 1st June 1986, so whether it had a new registration at that time ???? In which case I wonder what it's original registration was ? It's last V5C was issued on 21st May 1992 & it's tax ran out on 30th November 1993 (so only 18 years ago which is interesting bearing in mind what you were saying about the place having been abandoned for 35 years !!!!!)

The Triumph car is a TR3A by the look of it. Sad to see it wasting away. Probably worth about 5 grand as it is. Far too nice to see like this and probably could be saved. Love watching these abandoned vids and seeing stuff like this, but it's also sad to know that as soon as these places go on KZbin that's it, they are dead. I would happily live in a mobile home on a property like this just to try and protect it from getting wrecked/pillaged. I wonder who owns it? I would love to help sort through that lot and maybe save some of it from certain death or destruction. A very interesting place. Nice one!
