Well Biblically If you put God first that doesn't mean to wish to be fullfilled your Desires through God but to have to accept God's desire to be fullfilled in your life even if He wants You to be UNMARRIED for your Whole Life.

AMEN. I'm a 22 year old college graduate, teacher's assistant and Christian Apologist who's been a virgin trying to remain faithful to The Lord God all my life despite my sins so I'm glad I've never had sex before marriage or dated worldly non Christian Women but still have experience in how to treat Women fairly and compassionately. This is real because Men and Women need to come together as children desperately need their fathers and mothers for guidance and direction but also love. I really appreciate brother Allen Parr for his Christ centered and Scripturally accurate content. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant.

I am 38 years old and single. I've had a couple of relationships that were supposed to lead to marriage, but it was too hard for me. The most difficult thing was to devote my free time, my passions, time to read the Bible, time to play sports, etc. Someone later told me that it was because I was selfish. I don't know if this is the case, I just have a hard time sharing my life with someone. Right now, I am glad to be able to study the Word and be involved in the church. We will see what the future holds, but the thought that I will be alone for the rest of my life is a less and less problematic for me. The world is going crazy, there is hope that the Lord will come soon :)

Let the people of the church say AMEN! This is my personal feeling and overall attitude honestly! The people who say that you're selfish are stupid because at the end of the day, how you choose to live your life is none of their business and vice versa. How you live your life is not going to affect them in any way at all so why are they critical of you? I told my dad that I actually want to be single for the rest of my life (I've had no relationships because I wasn't the 8, 9, or 10 at all. I even had a Black man tell me that according to that rating system, I'm between a 2-3 because I'm overweight and ugly but if I were to lose weight, the most that I'll be is a 4, possibly 5 depending on how I look. So there goes that Black unity that we want so bad.) because I don't need the hell in my life especially with how things are going. Men treating women horribly and vice versa. So essentially it's just best to keep my sanity and peace by choosing not be out there. The con of course to this is that more and more men and women are doing this and that will eventually lead to more of a drop in birthing and marriage rates, thereby making the continuation of society be threatened.

I'm going to suggest that you are or were selfish but not as an insult. The truth is we are all selfish learning to become selfless, like Christ. The natural state of marriage leads people to face the selfishness head on. Some people end up breaking up because it is overwhelming. It is a difficult thing to learn. The process of becoming selfish to selfless is the same process to truly love. Truly loving God without expectations. However learning how to truly love without selfishness is the main lesson in the bible. It's a simple concept but a difficult one to carry out and accept. Also this lesson is learned through work, having friends, being a part of a family, and follow Christ. Learning how to love without expecting anything from anyone is difficult. Learning how to give trust, even after people mess up, is also difficult. I used to think marriage, friendships and such were a set up of reasonable exchanges. That trust was an discussed and agree upon ruleset. I would get perturbed if people would hypocritically break their own rules. Then I learned about love is a choice and so is trust. Ever since that, I've been more easily to forgive others and be more patient and less hurt if they are being unreasonable. And also I can forgive myself when I'm also being unreasonable. I'm more easily able to apologize for faults and forgive faults. Marriage isn't "sharing" a life. It's giving a life. The way Christ gave himself up for the church. I too also wanted to run from this. I cried to God "Howcome you sent me this man? We are so incompatible." Long story short I didn't understand how to truly love. I still struggle with selfishness from time to time. But life as been significantly more peaceful after realizing what true love is. True love isn't moved by the rules of the world. It's absolute foolishness by ways of the world. When I was asking the hard hitting questions to my spouse, we both confronted and figured out the purpose of love. I don't think everyone should get married. I think God knows what's best. However learning how to truly love is something I think God wants us all to eventually know somehow. Because when you look at Abraham almost sacrificing his son, Job going through trials, Moses wondering in the wilderness, Jesus chastising people for only wanting food, and Jesus dying for our sins. There seems to be that common theme of loving God and not expecting anything from God. And so Paul and the other apostles live this selfless way. I don't think America is rooted in selfishness like some claim. It's rooted in the freedom to choose. Which is Holy. "The perfect law of liberty " We are free to choose now. Now we can choose to truly love God the selfless way. Whither is discovering that through work, marriage, friends or family, I think it's all okay. I think God simply wants us to learn what real love is about. :)
@blahblahblah4544
@blahblahblah4544 Жыл бұрын
My advice is to keep praying to God about what's best for you. In the end, God knows what's best. For me, God sent me my man. It's been the most challenging but beautiful relationship I've ever had. And I learned how to truly love. Which I never loved like this before (aside from my babies). However people can learn this type of love through friendships, work and family so a person doesn't have to be married to learn how to love. Also, we all learn in our own time and only God knows what that best time is. It might not be time to get married. I know if my husband and I met any time sooner, we would've hated each other lol. I was still bitter at men and he was exactly not my "type" before we met. I had to heal first. He also had to heal also. So when dealing with complex human beings with various trauma, it's good to pray. I believe when you act accordingly to God's will, it sets you on a path to discover what's best for you. Whither it's being single or being married. :)

Before I got married at 40 years old, I was getting discipled and doing ministry constantly. I'm grateful that I didn't waste my singleness by learning how to serve and make the best of my time to make disciples and pour out my life for others. When I finally did get married, it made it easier to serve my wife and weather the various trials in my marriage. I would suggest to singles considering marriage that they learn to maximize their time to learn how to serve and minister to others before you get married. What I've learned is that marriage is not to fulfill personal happiness, but to learn to grow in character and deal with sin issues that bubble to the surface. If you are selfish, lazy or have an independent mentality, it would behoove you to not get married until you have more self control in those areas. Marriage is a beautiful thing, but it's hard and requires a lot of work. Just dropping that knowledge you can't learn in college. Peace and grace to all of the single people out there putting in work for the Kingdom!!!

Paul is so right when he talks about marriage in 1 Corinthians 7. Unfortunately many Christians are so fixated on marriage that some completely disregard this chapter of the Bible. I am single woman, 41, never really wanted to get married till I came to Christ over 4 years ago... Was it Christ or Christian who have 'convinced' me? Still don't know ... I can't even say how many prophesies I've received about wonderful man of God coming into my life, how many conversations or questions I had about whether I met someone or simply 'when I'm getting married?'..., how many disappointments (at that age it's pretty hard to find Christian man who is not 10 years younger and still single or who is not messed up or divorced....) It's been many times since than when I decided to stay single and serving the Lord, but many Christians didn't have it and continue prophesying... It's tiring and such a waste of time. But it should be about getting married to someone you are in love with, right? Not just for the sake of getting married. May the Lord have grace on us all who are still single whether you want to get married or not. May it be His will. Plus Jesus is coming back very soon 😀 Let's focus on serving Him and winning more souls to His Kingdom

I learned to enjoy my singleness by doing what God has called me to do, doing what I love, and being with the people I love. I’m thankful for supportive family, friends, and church-I don’t feel much pressure to get married. It makes this season so much easier. I would like to get married someday to share my life with someone, but I’m not in a rush. It’s mainly because God has tasked me with so much to do, and I love my own space! I am grateful.

I wished I heard this teaching decades ago because I always felt this way. I have been divorced since 2013, and my exhusband remarried. I definitely believe I always had the gift of singleness even while I was married. I got married out of anxiety and peer pressure when I was young. I enjoy my peace, freedom and celibacy of being single.

I am 32 and single and I understand your points. Paul was very wise on this topic. But marriage is from God and he invented it for a reason. Although I am content and living in purity and by myself, I will continue praying for God to make marriage a reality in my life for him to be glorified. Although I won't be entitled. Guys, think what you want, but as much as I loooove to be single, I don't believe it is the best way of life - at least for me. May God glorify his beautiful name and power in any season though. Peace and out.

I’m divorced and according to your one video I felt better about that divorce as my husband wanted it and made me crazy to get out. Anyways I’m 67 now and God has led me closer to him during my singleness. Time I didn’t have in abundance before. Raising kids etc, so being single gave me many blessings. But at church your right everything is addressed to married people, what about us widows and divorced. You are awesome to address this. But lately I’m wanting to find a good Christian man to grow together in shared faith. Plus due to fraud I’m struggling to make ends meet, plus facing 2 surgeries on neck and back, please pray for me. Hey Autumn! I totally hear you. I too have wrestled with lust, masterbating, and a porn addiction since 14 but remained celibate for the last 6 years. I have been free from lust and sexual immortality for about 2 months now and I can impart prayer and some revelations that have helped me! First we must seek God and his righteousness first in prayer and fasting. Second we must resist AND FLEE temptation (meaning running away from it literally). And third we must become so completely turned off by sexual sin where pleading with God on hands and knees to be free from this sin on our own bodies. Remember that every brother in Christ you see if a BROTHER, so lusting after your brother would be gross… right (has really helped me see my sisters as sisters and never desiring anything sexually from them knowing that it hurts my relationship with the Lord. I pray that the Lord Jesus would strengthen you in your times of weakness to the flesh and that he would supernaturally deliver you from any spirit of wickedness. I pray that you would be purified and renewed in your mind will and emotions and that you would be set free from any bondage of the enemy. If you do get delivered like I was, it will be easy to resist temptation and the Devil won’t be able to use this sin against you because you will be walking with Him in spirit and truth. Keep on your guard and don’t forget to pray for protection every morning day and night. It’s a battle but you will win. God will deliver you in his perfect timing

I totally agree with you, Allan! I’m single and prefer to be that way because people are crazy and their standards are off the wall. You can be a good woman but because you don’t fall under the standard of beauty (being an 8, 9, or 10) then you’re not seen as valuable or worthy of commitment, only just for sex and this includes Christian men. If you’re a man and not the standard of beauty and/or a high value man, then you’re not worthy of commitment or seen as valuable. It’s not worth the stress of getting out there whether you’re a man or woman. It just makes sense to be single and in peace.

When house issues arise, important decisions need to be made, health issues, growing old/retirement - doing these things will be much more difficult alone than when surrounded by family. Being alone means being alone. When married you have children and grandchildren and a built in support system. - Greiving that I have matured past fertility is a whole other monster in itself, and it's the gift that keeps on giving (eg.

Hmm. I actually feel like I'm made to feel guilty for wanting to be married. I'm 30 and I want to be married. I don't have the gift of singleness, I don't like being alone, and while I've never been sexually active, I "burn with passion." "Its better to marry than to burn with passion." Burning is frustrating and distracting and sometimes I feel Iike other Christians/people unintentionally discourage me, because maybe they married unwisely and they're unhappy. Those with good marriages I think take it for granted. Being single is lonely and the hormones are frustrating.

I'm a 39 year old male and still haven't had intercourse. As a Christian I have believed it was best to wait for the right person but I never thought I'd still be waiting at this age. I've had some relationships, been on countless dates and had some sexual experience but just not gone all the way. I have struggled with porn and masturbation nearly my whole life as a result and despite trying my best to stop, it feels like such a hardened habit now. It may not be too late to meet someone but I haven't even come close to being in a relationship for years now. I rarely even meet someone I want to pursue. The few I do aren't into me and the ones that are, I'm not into. There always seems to be something missing. Maybe marriage is not in God's plan for me or maybe I'm just unlucky or maybe I'm cursed? I don't know, but a suitable partner seems impossible to find. Everyday I have such a strong desire for a woman but it's only in my dreams that that becomes a reality.

Same, I’m 34 right now and have had some sexual experiences/compromises/scares but haven’t ‘gone all the way’ and have struggled with lusts and porn since 15. I feel indifference in my attachment style which makes matters worse and I get over ppl and things too easily. I am seeking therapy but I go back and forth on whether I really want marriage but I’m praying to become a solid man of God regardless. The last 3-4 years I found myself stuck in these patterns with women I know shouldn’t have gotten so close to me in a certain manner and now I’m trying to redeem time. I only hope I make it out without doing something foolish or messing up the blessing of singleness within itself. Bless you and know you’re not alone in this fight.

Praying in agreement for your deliverance from lust (porn, masturbation). Check out the video Allen did on this if you haven’t already. People underestimate the psychological and warfare power of such and how it negatively impacts your ability to wholly connect with another person. The sex industry (including lusting at Instagram pics and other) is destroying families, relationships, and intimacy.

I just turned 25, and I'm single. For a while now I've been going back and forth with how I feel about this status of my life. I have days where I do feel like I need to really cherish my singleness because it is a blessing. But then I have days where I feel like my life would be so much better if I were married. I just don't know how to feel sometimes, either. I am glad you made this video because you hit on a lot of the scriptures and ideas I've used to encourage myself, as well as a lot of difficulties I face. I am also the youngest of 4 and the only daughter and I sometimes feel like my family won't respect me as a fully functioning and independent adult until I get married or become some 7 figure business woman. I am a recent first gen college grad but I'm not where I want to be career wise either but I'm not trying to idolize career because I know there's more to life than that & I dont want to drown myself in my career to fill a void. I have no children, either, and I feel as though my parents still see me as a child and always will until I start my own family and this really makes me sad sometimes. I feel like I'm always included in their plans especially extended family events and holidays as if I'm just my parents' automatic plus 1. Because where else would I be? Yet, they always have to ask my brothers in advance and constantly reassure them that they understand if they cant do certain things or make it to certain events. They respect them as their own separate unions and I have asked God to help me not to envy that. It gets overwhelming sometimes. I often wonder if I was born for my sole purpose to be a servant to my family and nothing more. I feel like none of my heart's desires are even valid and I'm selfish for even desiring a husband because I should be grateful I have both parents, and that they're always so invasive into my private life because that means they care, and that I have neices and nephews that love me and don't get me wrong I am grateful for everything I have in life. I just wish I was in a different place sometimes, or had my own family and stability. I feel like I'm trying so hard to break through into womanhood. If you read this and made it all the way here, just pray for me. I know God has a plan for my life I'm trying to just see it through.

I relate heavily to you. I’m 24, single and no children and I guess I have a pretty goofy personality so I’m always looked at as a child by my family members instead of a young woman. I also desire for a husband at times because it would take so much of the financial/career/physical load off me and I do enjoy serving others. And nobodies perfect but there’s less and less God fearing men as the days go by. I know just how you feel. I guess we’ll have to just keep praying on it and at the same time dote on our singleness and the righteousness that can grow in us from being single. Also I think for us ladies at least, not having other Christian women friends also exasperates our desire to marriage. Sometimes we just want platonic intimacy and companionship and we don’t necessarily need to be married for that. I prayed for you btw! 🌸

@@Littlemissvivacious Thank you for sharing sis. I relate to you alot too. Very goofy personality as well lol. Heavy on the wanting someone to help bear the load part!!! Whew it can just be really awkward in today's society to be a single young christian woman, so many potential odds against us but God is greater than any of them, and that requires a daily reminder to self because you can really fall into feeling so sad, lonely, insufficient if you let your mind roam on it. You really hit the nail on the head for me with all of what you said and it helped me to see things a little differently. Satan loves to attack our minds to get us to view things negatively that were meant for good. I think God admires and gave us our unique youthfulness for a reason and for his glory. Godly Marriage is good, it is a gift from God, loneliness, waiting for someone who might never come and endlessly burning with passion is very bad for any one. We live in this flesh World, we must never deny our physical needs, when we are resurrected, we will be like Angels neither getting married or given in marriage, then we can enjoy our singleness, no wonder so many Christians are caught up in Sexual scandals because of a need that is consistently ignored 🙏.

I just wanted to give you some encouragement. Marriage is a very special bond God created between man and women. If marriage is wrong or inferior to singleness God would not have created marriage . You don't need to feel guilty for wanting marriage and an husband. If God says this about a man finding a wife then it applies to a woman finding a husband " He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" Proverbs 18:22 ESV. Marriage is difficult but it's also a beautiful thing and singleness dosen't come with out problems either. Singleness can be a beautiful thing as well, so they are both challenging. Also remember you are doing God's work with being invested in your husband and if you have children teaching them the Word of God and investing in them. Marriage isn't a mistake and I don't think you made a mistake by marry. I'm married and very happy to be. It's challenging but I don't think I could have handled being single. I also love my job as a mother!

Listen to it again. Marriage is strongly encouraged for many reasons. He's just saying, as a single person, you are not at disadvantage just because you are single.

I'm turning 34 soon and still single with the desire to get married. I recently gave my desire to God and put it in His hands, but it's still hard. Some days I'm content and others I'm not. The hardest thing for me right now to deal with is my desire to have kids. I also don't know how much I would need to change about my lifestyle before I got married. Sometimes I think I put too much pressure on myself, and others I don't know.

I've been single for years and really love it, I try to go to church and group meetings like cr. I try to stay active and talk about my current problems and try to possibly help others in need. 43 years clean this month through the grace of the Lord God. Amen

I think that this video was good to share. Honestly, I also think that it's a heart issue. A lot of believers unknowingly idolize marriage. That needs to be taught more. Yes, I'm single, but I'm learning to be more thankful for God keeping me single so that my affection for Him grows as well as my faith. Learning to be content is always going to be a struggle but when I'm more satisfied in Him, I realize that's the GOAL. It's all for his glory.

Single. Happy. Staying single. As such, you have to plan accordingly for the surprises that life will enviably throw your way - have substantial savings, long-term care insurance, reliable vehicle(s), living will, plan for pets in the event of untimely demise, etc - but would much rather live alone or w a platonic roommate (separate sleeping quarters).

Im going through a book Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. He mentioned that he was concerned that marriage would get in the way of his ministry however he believed that God showed him that his family should be his main ministry. He also mentioned that marriage like singleness can also bring us closer to God. This made me wonder if the concerns within a marriage was really a distraction from ministry.

What translation are you using? I can’t find the phrase “the gift of celibacy” anywhere in the NIV, ESV, KJV, NKJV, CSB, or HCSB, or NLT. I think you’re stretching the text to mean something the original Greek doesn’t mean. It talks about the “gift of singleness,” which is referring to the gift of anyone who is single. Yes, it is special in the eyes of God for someone to choose celibacy for the kingdom (Matt. 19:12). But I have known believers who are past the age of thinking they’ll get married even though they always desired marriage and never had “the gift of celibacy” in the way you talk about it. But they had the gift of singleness, meaning that they had more time to devote to God and to his kingdom. It’s also just a little concerning to me that in the slides for your video you don’t list the book, only the chapter and verse. Please list both for those who want to screenshot and check it against the Word for themselves:))

I needed to hear this message. I did not accept wrong proposals and become unequally yoked or unhappy for all the reasons you mentioned. God directed my path. I listened to Godly and parental advice. I hope I listened well enough, and God continues to give me discernment, wisdom, and hope. ( Looking back, I see I missed some awful bullets that would have made me suffer! I prayed hard, but I think Satan brought his best to try me. Thank you Lord for keeping me from stumbling.) I pray God keeps me safe, provides for me, and lifts me up as my good Father and God. I trust the LORD. Bless me, Father. Thank you, Jesus! Amen

This was a really helpful and edifying video. Thanks for speaking about the whole singleness thing in the church. There have been times where I have felt so alienated because all the married people were together and I didn't quite feel like I had what it took to connect with them. I was friends with son married people but they would exclude me when they had dinners with other married people. I don't know I guess it just made me feel a little bit less than

Every time I see my extended family members they always ask when you getting married? Like I’m the last person in the whole entire family that is single. I’m 37 I can’t help it I’m not married right now in fact I’ve seen many marriages crumble over the years with mess attached. It’s not that I’m choosing to be married I’ve hadn’t crossed a woman’s radar yet I must be invisible or smart one not getting into mess regret misery. I’ll like too be married someday if it’s in Gods will for me too be. So yeah I gotta put up with from my extended family why are you not married yet until then.

I definitely want to be married. I always felt like that was in God's plan for me. Second to serving God, I feel the most fulfilled when I'm in a relationship, helping the man I'm with. 🥰

I am single for more than 40 years. It's really a struggle to battle sexual temptations. I am never loved in a way that will lead into a marriage, and the one I loved that way was not feeling the same for me. Sometimes I really wish for someone who can understand me and love me as I am, but it's not easy to meet that one. I was serving God through my 20s. Now I am overwhelmed with works. I feel now that alone can be rewarding.

I'm single and I know I will be celibate for my whole life. I'm bound to the Word of God, that says marriage is good, but being unmarried is better. Unless this verse will be erased by God's divine hand, I cannot marry. I want God to have my all.

After two divorces and no children, I believe I was never called to marriage or parenthood to begin with, and I'm totally OK with that. I feel no jealousy when I observe married friends or see family photos. If anything, I'm happy for them! I truly feel no resentment, no feelings of "why don't I have that, too" or regret other than not listening closer to what God called me to from the start. Honest. I like my life. I just wish I had prayed more before involving the lives of two honorable men who deserved better than to be married to me, someone who could not make a proper commitment. Fortunately, God is forgiving, and neither of these men harbors any ill will toward me.
