This comment is for the women who will come across this video after having surrendered everything to God and remain single. You are not alone. There is nothing wrong with you. You are just as ready for a spouse as the married women you have watched serve God at their convenience and then tell you that you are not dedicated, which is why you are single. The Creator doesn't make anything broken. You are a jewel and would be a gift to any man who opened his eyes to behold the treasure that is you. This video is not "one size fits all" content and those commenting do not know your sacrifice. Be blessed and hold your head high. You are a queen.

Thank you... it's so true.. everything she's saying is like 'but I HAVE given my life to Jesus and surrendered everything to him and worked towards sanctification constantly and tried to 'glow up' while being modest but cute, modest but open, look good but don't be vain, have good values, don't look at men too long, don't be too forward and don't bee stand offish. Don't let men walk all over you but don't be combative. Be modest but not frumpy. Don't be loud but don't be boring. Be interesting but don't be fake. Don't think about if your husband is coming or not but "put yourself out there". Look cute but don't spend too much on clothes and don't wear too much makeup. and have been celibate and loved the lord first before men with all my heart mind and soul.' lol

This was truth! I remember when I first started my journey I was so focused on “a husband”, impatient and not really on God. through my waiting period my focused has shifted on God where my love for him has grown tremendously and he has has taught me sooo much that now I see why when I thought I was ready for a husband I was far from it. Someone mentioned this below but free will is still a part of the story. God doesnt make any of us do anything. He can direct your path, but you still have to choose to take it. So, yes, we shouldnt idolize marriage/relationships and yes, we should be working on areas of our life that the Holy Spirit convicts us or brings to our attention, but not everyone will be married. He never promised all of us a husband. I want a Godly husband, but just with any other desire, you have to submit it to God's will. As hard as that might be to accept, it is the truth. Purposes have to be aligned and that is what it is about...God's purpose.

This is very harmful and painful advice for Godly single women who have done and become everything we are supposed to. Telling people that God will provide a spouse when they are ready is not Biblical. It’s a prosperity Gospel for relationships. The only thing that God ever promises us is that He will never leave us and that He has paid for our sin.

I disagree. God recommended this video to me in a very timely manner, He told me already a while back that He is preparing me for my husband, and today when frustrated with the situation He recommended this video to me. It was a great blessing to me. I am sad that you said the video is harmful, I am sad that the person who made the video could have removed it upon seeing your comment and me and so many others wouldn't be blessed by it.

Disagree. For those this video is for, it will cause conviction and true repentance like it did me. I feel empowered by this video. She gave practical advice for me to start working on. It's not painful nor harmful. She's addressing our hearts, not our outward "godly" actions. If you don't feel it applies to you, because you already know you are walking with God and are content in God, then this video is not for you. Your contentment in God isn't going to prompt you to click on this video. Many who this was actually for would have been blessed with this. I pray, for their sake, she keeps this video up.

I have to disagree. There's nothing wrong with praying for a husband. And nothing wrong with what she's advising because both keep you from sinning against God. God wants us to abstain from evil. I can assure you if you don't give God every area of your life the devil finds a way in We can't stand on our own and it's not trivial to pray for marriage

How many people aren't ready to this level, but get a crash course in their marriage? A woman can be content, single, passionately pursuing God.... And not get her husband via overnight shipping. Marriage isn't the graduation ceremony when you've won at godliness in singleness. Marriage is a gift, and gifts are not earned, demanded, or given on our timeline. (I mean really, was Hosea's wife ready to be married according to our standards?) Yes, let's pursue God and his kingdom. Let's not get distracted by desperation for marriage. Let's learn to trust His will, and His timing in His gift giving. But please, don't tell women they need to be "spiritual enough" for God to give them a gift, as though His gifts are actually payment for achieving a certain level of spirituality. Seek Him. Seek His Kingdom. Don't get distracted by the men around, desperation, or anything else. And yeah, if you're focused on the gift giver, you'll see when he's trying to give you a gift.

If God decides whether you get married, how do you explain people who get married multiple times? I went to a church with a woman who told me that she divorced her first husband because she just didn't want to be married to him anymore. She said that there was no abuse or infidelity and that he didn't want to get divorced. Then God of course sent her a second x-ian husband (even though the Bible says that if you get married after getting divorced, you're an adulterer). She was considered a strong x-ian woman because she had an x-ian husband, three children with her second husband and a huge house in the nicest neighborhood. Fast forward several years, she's now on her fourth husband, so I guess God has four, five, six, seven husbands timed-out for her. We can make our own choices. God doesn't force people to do what he wants them to do. Another x-ian woman i knew from the church married for the second time at the age of 40 to someone who wasn't an x-ian. She told me that God must not have a husband timed-out for me. When I pointed out that she married someone who wasn't a believer and that the Bible says not to marry someone who isn't an x-ian, it made her angry. X-ians need to believe that God makes their choices for them so they can justify making whatever decisions they want to make. If you ask this woman who posted this video why God rewarded the church woman I knew with a second marriage to an x-ian, three children and a big house after she divorced her first husband, she wouldn't be able to explain why she qualified for the gift of marriage by going against God's will. X-ians are some of the most simple-minded people I've ever met. They always use themselves as examples of wonderful "really living for Christ" "good-enough" x-ians which is how they're able to EARN the blessings from christ.

Just heard the 35 comment and it really hit home for my situation. Its not about the nearly 22 years after revelation it is about trusting in God. You can surrender it all to God, but that doesn't necessarily mean you trust. I want to desire and trust God more not just obey/submit cause as a Christian it is right and knowing God knows best. I don't want to be in a heart space force the posture just to receive the blessing. I need to trust God and seeking to learn it during this season

The person you choose to marry should thus have an anchor point of love and morality outside of what you offer so your marriage can stay strong even when you are at your weakest. You want someone whose faithfulness to you is not anchored in the shifting sands of circumstance.

These are great points but this not true for all single women who are Christians. Some Christian women are destined to be single and believe God for a spouse until their dying day and just serve the Lord, and some just wait longer than others. A spouse is a grace gift that we cannot earn or deserve, not a badge of maturity, God is not a vending machine. Even on our best day we deserve nothing from God but to spend eternity separated from Him.
@bpresleyc

The issue with this reasoning is that it's all about "you" and your perspective and when "you" are ready and submitted. There are other factors...you and God might be on a path, but the person of interest may not be ready. There are so many dedicated people who have been surrendered and submitted to God for decades....serving God and others genuinely and still being looked over. When we get the relationship we want, it is very tempting to become 'experts" in relationships when God's gifts to us are based primarily on HIS mercy to us, not our qualifications. We have to be honest with ourselves and where we really are because we will be compassionate to others and their struggles. No wife is ready to be a wife. Love is a choice between two consenting people and God. You can be and do everything you think needs to be done, but if one of those 3 people are not agreeing to the relationship, the relationship will not likely happen.

This video was to bring light to certain areas that may be overlooked when it comes to maturing. While no one is “perfect” for marriage, there are things that do not align with God’s will, and therefore will prevent him from doing certain things (not just getting a spouse). If you’re familiar with the book of Esther, there was a whole preparation in her life before she met the king. God prepares us for every stage of our life (including marriage). You should check out my part 2 where I speak to certain things that it appears may have been taken out of context.

@@Nokss87 Not trying to be rude, but please don't accuse me of lying or lump all us "Christian" people together. My opinion is as I said: God forgives our sins if we repent. So, o.p. doesn't have to worry about past sin holding up her destiny. And, if you think I'm lying about the rest, answer me this: are all married people 100% right with God? Are all singles abandoned by God because there's something wrong with them? I think you'll find the answer to both is...NO. Being single doesn't mean there's something wrong and being married doesn't mean everything is right. As for the standard "Christian" answer of "God is working on you", for some people that may very well be true. It's true for me. But, it is something we need to stop throwing around because it creates a feeling that if you're single something must be wrong. And, that's simply not true. God loves us as we are.

I feel I have a great relationship with God and myself and I still do not have a husband. I know plenty of women who don’t even deserve a husband, they don’t have a good relationship with God and they don’t carry themselves as wives and they still have husbands!!! I appreciate this video but it isn’t this black and white. Good video though!

your asking that question, you need to learn to be lonely for the rest of your days. if you cant do that then there is a gleam of codependence in you. God will never leave you lonely even when you are alone. XO

You are so right! Here I find myself getting on a dating app when I’m not even type to do so. Yet I kept deleting my account in the end. I know i can’t find Christian love there and I don’t want to make God feel like I don’t trust his timing or plan for me. So I’m glad I came across your video it totally put everything in perspective! God bless you honey. I'm forty years old, no kids. I agree with you do need to be content with God. Ok so I've been content with God for a very long time and have been busy at times in ministry, but still haven't found the one. Do I have it altogether, no I'm working on my fitness, improving myself, I make enough money to live on my own and support myself. And so I wonder sometimes, but then could it be that God wants me to be single right now, could it be he gets glory out of this? I may never fully understand. But I'm content I sleep as late as I want to. I go and come as I want. Don't get me wrong I have those lonely times, but Gods grace is sufficient, I overcome those times. Now this is my story and I truly believe everyone has a journey of their own. But I'm content, I mean with all due respect- and I know God's get the glory out of two people being married under him. But could he also get glory out of a person being single as well. Could it be that my life can encourage someone that you don't have to be broke disgusted, and unhappy cause you're single whether it's by choice, God's choice or life circumstance. I experienced some life traumas, could it be that God is still working on me, healing me? I mean I'm a great cook, I have a career and can take care of a family if I need to. But I haven't found him yet. I'm still content and I think that's all that matters, that wherever you are in life single or married, you have a relationship with God and are content with him.

How do I have a relationship with God? I want one!! I want to totally be into him and not be so distracted !! Ive been hurt and disappointed by people my whole life! Im tired! I feel like ive been waiting to be rescued and shown real love by people but are they even capable of that? My heart is full and ive struggled with my faith! I want my daughters to know him as well but how can I teach them what I don't know? My mom was/is really religious but I didnt feel loved by her at all! She beat us diwn with the scripture but never showed his love for us!! So I struggle bad! Not really seeking marriage right now because i am broken and I want to attract what I am healthy but I just want peace and relationship!!! I want my words and my actions to match up! I want to be able to truly worship and encounter the holy spirit!

I start with Songs! Listen to Kurt Carr, Fred Hammond they have a lot of scripture in their songs. It’s so rejoicing. Songs convict me because it is relatable situationally if you don’t understand the scriptures yet. Then slowly gravitate to the Bible. Sarah Jakes Roberts follow her. You will get insight and be so renewed. You can feel the spirit. God will direct you. I have been where you are and I’m still building my relationship with him. It doesn’t matter how many scriptures you know, it doesn’t make you that much more connected to God! God Bless you!

I started with just praying to God, being really honest about my pain/troubles and asking for guidance, comfort, and a renewed heart (to open up to being able to love and trust Him and other people). Also, the plans from the Bible app have been really helpful for me. I like having some context to the scriptures. Between prayer and study, I feel my relationship with God is improving and I pray the same for you! The last piece that I'd recommend is finding Godly community, not just people who know the word but also people who follow it. Transformation Church through it's online activity has been great for me. It was hard because I also feel like I expect disappointment and pain from people. But, our great commission is to love God and then other people as our selves. It's been a long road, I'm still learning, but I believe the Lord will give you the strength to heal and give you more love than anyone could provide. He will make your heart new and overflowing with peace and joy. That's my prayer for you sister❤ And, sorry for the book ;)
