Allan please do a video on this ... OSAS is false and Jesus words prove it. Read Matthew 25:1-12 the parable of the 10 virgins. Notice in this rapture parable 1. All 10 virgins were VIRGINS or believers 2. All 10 virgins had their lamps or the word of God (Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path) 3. The 5 foolish virgins had oil at one time (they were saved) (Matthew 25:8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’) 4. All 10 virgins were looking for Jesus return (Matthew 25:7) BUT 5 were wise and 5 were foolish, why? They FELL AWAY (Luke 8:13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away) or ran out of OIL (Holy Spirit). They didn't know (Matthew 25:12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I DON'T KNOW YOU.’) or have a relationship with Jesus. (Hebrews 5:9, Acts 5:32, 1 John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love, John 14:15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments).

For those hoping sex with their spouse will always be a super hot passionate creative moment, as the Parrs accurately stated, the porn industry has painted a false perception of that. With kids, fluctuating hormones and other major life events that will occur, the sex will not be on the same level all the time...but...when both spouses have overall peak performance attitudes, have a habitual tendency of consistent fitness, excellent nutrition, quality rest, and feeding his/her mind/soul with optimal content, quality sex will be more frequent because both individuals are generally holistically healthy and care for their temples with finesse and consideration

I’ve been divorced since 1993 when I was only 24 years old. I love this segment because knowing what I know now watching your marriage podcast series helps me reflect back why I got a divorce and what went wrong between my ex husband and I.I have not remarried but have had long term relationships. I’m happy to say that this is a wealth of knowledge for everyone who is considering the commitment to marriage. It is never too late to learn about what a Christian marriage suppose to look like. This is the video to watch! Mr. Parr, your wife Mrs. Parr is absolutely a gem and such a beautiful lady. Thank you for tackling marriage does not cure lust. I've been hearing notable teachers teaching people that they should lust after their spouse. This is not a biblical concept. I am glad that both you and Mrs. Parr spoke up about how lust is dangerous and can and will damage a marriage if not dealt with.

I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated because i literally can't envision my life with anyone else. Thank you for this video. Thank you for this series. The biggest takeaway that I’ve gotten from this video (which is also confirmation) is that marriage is not supposed to make you happy. If you’re miserable while you’re single, you most likely will be miserable while you’re married. The best thing to do as singles is to work through your trauma and issues as much as you can BEFORE getting married.
@accesstotheredcarpet
@accesstotheredcarpet Жыл бұрын
Straight facts! 💯💯 Many people are desperate to get married because of the fear of being alone but in reality they are miserable being single. That was a light bulb moment. I’ve been happily single and celibate for 5 years now. Best decision I’ve ever made. It’s a game changer that has shifted my focus solely on myself before I allow a new person into my life in the future.

@@accesstotheredcarpet you’re absolutely right. Some people rush to get married, thinking that it will make them happy. The key is to be happy while you’re single. I’ve been single and abstinent for many years now. I’m loving my peace!

As a single man, I used to feel both unhappy and inferior, as I thought marriage was this near heavenly state and that being single meant I was a bad person no woman wanted to touch, let alone marry. That thinking caused much depression and feelings of worthlessness. But I learned that God loves me in spite of my 'inferior' marital status and that I have just as much worth as anyone else. I learned to be content with God and you know what? I have peace, confidence and joy within. I'm putting God first and seeking His kingdom and righteousness, knowing that everything will fall neatly in place.

The word you spoke out “difficult” is a straightforward giveaway that your marriage is in trouble already. This just means God did not assigned this person you married. You’re supposed to be happy but here you are as a newly married person says it’s difficult. Wow! I’m sorry this is happening to you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@RandomnessAndAllTheThings
@RandomnessAndAllTheThings Жыл бұрын
@@accesstotheredcarpet what makes you say God did not assign this person? He is author and sovereign over all. I’ve known people who say their first year of marriage was the most difficult. And they now have a great marriage and have been married for 10+ years. Others have said their really difficult years didn’t come until years later. Difficult times doesn’t mean God didn’t ordain it. The Parrs even just said in this video, marriage isn’t about being happy all the time. Nothing is happy all the time.

I agree with Jennifer any flight over 12 hours deserves a comfortable seat. I had premium select flying to Japan and it was so worth it especially for the blood circulation in the legs and feet! I had compression socks on too. I'm glad that they both keeping it real because I am 37 single with no kids and I just said to myself the other day I am going to take my time finding the right man. There is no rush because I see these folks out here getting divorced left and right. It is terrible and I say in my head "Isn't marriage a covenant?" "Why are these folks allowing the devil to destroy their marriage". I agree with what Allen said you divorce and remarry and divorce and remarry and your never going to be happy. People need to find happiness within themselves. I am happy being single lol. I have cut so many guys off just because when we break up just from dating they come back and try to make my life a living hell because they are depressed or they will try and manipulate. I say to myself nope! Go and bother someone else. I changed my phone number in November and it has been the best decision. It has been quiet for months with no men bothering me and it has been the best spiritual experience with Jesus and I.

I'm a single man who's constantly being told I need a wife to make me complete. If that is so, then why are so many marriages failing and ending in divorce? I've learned that it's only in Christ that a man or woman is complete. As for dating, I was done with that years ago and feel better for it, and more comfortable and confident around the opposite sex. But without God, no life is complete regardless of whether you are single or married! Only through being content in Him can one find true inner happiness.

When I first got married, almost 20 years ago, we each got $50 of spending money a month with the expectation that we could increase it as we had more income... then we had kids and it went down to $25 a month... then covid hit and we lost our business and we're now trying to make our way out of debt and keep our house. Having spending money again seems like a dream. It's such a great thing to do when you can afford it. Right now we are only buying the bare minimum, never eating out or going out.

I love the idea of flex money or each spouse having an allowance each month to do whatever they want with. I think that would solve a lot of money disagreements.

As still a single person, I didn't think that two unhappy single people would result in unhappy marriage. I definitely believed in this myth and I'm glad you talked about this And also I thought sex would naturally occur when you're in bed in marriage, but if we are both virgins who haven't had sex, it'll definitely be awkward the first time 😂😅 and thank you for saying that marriage wouldn't cure the lust problem. I always thought marriage can cure lust problems since you can just have sex whenever you want 😅

I see it too but I see his side too. Those upgrades cost a LOT. Personally I would not pay that much money for an upgrade unless I had money to throw away. 13 hours for young healthy people like them is not that long. I have done it many times with young children. 13 hours is gone quickly but a keyboard is a long term investment that can contribute to his career thus family, it can bless many others lives and it is something they can pass down to their children. You can not do that with a very expensive upgrade. An upgrade only is a brief pleasure to only bless you but a keyboard is a long term investment to bless many others.

@@stst77 to each is own . The old keyboard is blessing others and I could bless others in the upgraded seat while being comfortable. I’ve been in 13-16hr flights as well and I 100% agree with Mrs Parr ☺️
