I have never heard anyone mention the same issues I have with my nails. My natural nails would also curl. Especially in hot water or even just soaking off product. I've noticed that almond shaped nails suit me better because of the strong c curve. Thank you so much for sharing your tips and tricks but also your nail journey!!

I love your videos! I'm unable to do my nails anymore unless I'm using artificial nails 😭 but still enjoy your videos. I started having a reaction to gel. I tried multiple brands and 12-free or higher gels, but sadly they all cause reactions. Nail glue has been fine, though, as well as traditional polish.

I get allergies as well. But once I used madam glam I don't have the issue as bad anymore. I found it was mostly base gels. But madam glam have worked for me even when I use just the base from MG. But also they sell polish with the base and top in it. You say you've tried so I'm assuming you may have tried MG just wanted to tell in case you haven't. Good luck

I really need your help lol. I started doing my own nails about 12 years ago. I started with a simple gel manicure. Then I watched your video about doing the gel/dip combo and started doing that about 6 months ago. Next was your video about builder gel and that's what I've been doing for the last two or three months. Now I want my nails a little longer and I want coffin shape. When I file my own nails, they never turn out how I want them. Idk if I should do tips with hard gel overlay or polygel with full nail extensions, gel x or whatever. There are so many to choose from! I'd like something durable (I do my nails about once a month), easy(ish), although I feel like I can do any of them, and something that's not a total pain to take off. What is your very favorite nail? TIA.

Hey girl quick question! I am a girl on a budget and already have a few products for doing my dips nails but would love to do the gel method. I already hav Opi’s Bond Aid pH balancing agent. What would be the bare minimum products other than that to use for prep as well as for doing the actual dip process that you would suggest?!? Would the proBond be better to be the primer, and then like the base coat, do I need the peelable and the gel base coat or could i just get one? And the best op coat? Which ones would you suggest to be absolutely necessary? I like to order on amazon as much as possible and I can also go to the professional store as I am a cosmetologist so i do have that to get a little discount as well. But I’m just trying to get the bare minimum that I need for right now to save money and do my own nails at home! Pretty please and thank you I would greatly appreciate your help! ❤🙏🏽

Always struggled with dip liquids, either they dried too quickly or didn't dry fast enough and usually, no matter how careful I was, they flooded my cuticles. Acetone ate my natural nails, so removal sucked. Took a year off and tried full cover nails with gel. Invested in an e-file and now I do base and dip and love my nails.

I don’t think she’s curing the individual nails, I think she’s somewhat flash curing so when she working on the other nails she doesn’t mess up the dip powder. This is just a guess but hopefully she will answer cause I’d like to know the answer too 😊
@TheBeautyVault2 жыл бұрын
when applying dip powder over gel, any little bump to the nail will dent the gel/powder combo if it’s not cured so i like to cure before moving onto the next nail out of caution in case i bump it on something. my desk is crammed with stuff when i’m filming so i just like to do a quick cure. hope that makes sense!

I know this might sound obvious buuuutttt, I was wondering if you could show how you clean/maintain your nails with artificial products on them? I am VERY new to the nail world (first time wearing tips on my nails) and I am finding that “gunk” is building up under my nails. I wash my hands, I promise hehe, and also use a nail brush to clean under the nails but there is still schmutz under my real nails. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated or even a wonderfully choreographed video by you, of course, would be even better 😊

I like the gel method but do you find it changes the color of the powder, if that makes sense? I only have a few nude colors but I found that when I use the regular way with activator it seems to darken the color a weeeeee bit. Which I personally don’t mind, but when I switched to gel I noticed the color was way more intense without the activator

I’m struggling so bad doing the gel x method. I’ve tried 3 different brands of full coverage nails, I do alllll the prep work, I’ve used several gel base coats on my natural nail, then I cure a little, then put the same gel base polish in the nail, push it down with no air bubbles, flash cure and then main cure And within 10 minutes they’re POPPING OFF MY NAILS! And then the gel polish is stuck to my nails but the tips aren’t sticking 😭😭 I follow all the correct prep work on my natural nails and I also prep the full coverage nails but idk what I’m doing wrong?! And then I saw another girls video where she used “gel glue polish” but I’ve never eeven heard of gel glue So am I supposed to use plain gel base coat polish for that method or am I supposed to try the gel glue for the tips?? Help a girl out because I cry every time lol, I have bad arthritis all over and it hurts me a lot to sit on my stool for that long- sizing all the nail tips to my nails and filing them to Make sure they’re not too small OR too big, all the prep work , the cure time and then me painting them with gel color and all that. It literally takes me almost 3 hours to do both hands because I’m so careful about the prep work and I try to be thorough. But it’s so frustrating But I prefer the full coverage nail tips compared to the just plain nail tips that you have to glue on and then spend a hundred hours using dip or another method to build the apex
@tessaelto14722 жыл бұрын
Hey so I'm not the creator but I would definitely get some gel glue! I like the Beetles one a lot out of all the ones I've tried. Ive heard before that you can use base coat as glue but when I've tried it it doesn't work. I think things will work out if you switch out the base coat for gel glue!
@NaildaywithEmily Жыл бұрын
I know this is an older video, but I wanted to make a recommendation. The cracks in your nails is because the sidewalls of your nails where the nail is attached to the skin (nail bed) are very overfiled. It's especially noticeable on your thumbs and your pointer (where it curves inward). I think you're overcompensating for how your nails grow and filing way too high up. That being said, i appreciate the step by step for this method as I have to learn dip powder for school so I'm just watching tutorials so I can feel confident in my ability to do this on a model.
@Romans08.312 жыл бұрын
Have you noticed with the gel method it lasting longer than 2 weeks or any less or more lifting? For me seems like gel method lasts longer but regular builder and gel color last me like 5 weeks but dip powder is like 2.5-3 weeks max 😅
