I find it really refreshing that Derick can say another guy is good looking. I know a lot of girls with male friends get frustrated when they say they "can't tell" or "don't know" if another guy is handsome because we know it's coming from a place of fear that they'll be called gay. It's ridiculous and thank you Derick for being confident and mature enough to grow past that.

Got to say I love how much Derek has grown and realizing that people aren't soulmates. You might start out with an attraction but you work hard everyday to keep that relationship thriving! These are the situations that lead to people cheating on their spouses. Because they catch feelings for somebody and they start to think that this is their REAL soulmate. Derek is correct about going to bed angry. When angry and upset, you are flooded with emotion and adrenaline. It takes time to clear this. You aren’t going to be able to work things out until you do. Trying to do this while tired is another problem. Before going to sleep, agree about a time the next day when you will discuss the subject again, so you aren’t just sweeping it under the rug. Actually….. it is almost kind of best to just not really talk about past relationships (details at least), because it is in the past. So unless it truly is relevant for the current relationship I’d say leave it be because it can always only ever cause (generally unnecessary) hurt. And yes strongly agree to the libido match, must be pretty equal, else you might just as well be friends
@Bestfledermaus11 ай бұрын
Oh yes i remember now what i wanted to add. If possible i suppose a “break/breather” between relationships and getting back to ones own energy is most likely preferable and i think then the tendency to think or compare things to old people is most often hardly a thing. And also Derik, just because some things remind you of a former partner/some certain things just happened to be easier in a way, definitely does not mean you would want to be with that other person. No worries there I’d say. That being said i miss the old days where people met young and stayed together after that. Sarah you are definitely lucky in that regard that Derik was not super focused on relationships previously. Happy new year

I agree. With Sarah about working anger out before you go to sleep. I believe what we don't work through seeds into our subconscious mind. So yes, we feel better in the morning, but in the long run it creates issues. Nightmares for one. Because now the subconscious mind needs to work it through. Or, we get triggered later down the line, from what never got resolved in the first place. Finally, let's refer to the Wisdom of Jesus here. He said Don't let the sun go down on your anger. He knew something it took me years to understand. So, Sarah, I agree with you on this one.

I would go to a Health Food store and speak to the staff and they can set you up with super supplements that would be good for both of your sweet kiddos. On the other hand when he does get a bug, depending on how you treat it will also help him build his immunity. Just some tips. When my kids were young I worked for an amazing Dr that got my kids off all of the drugs and taught me how to build their immune systems and they were so much better for it. Love you guys!!!

He's not even in school yet.. he'll be sick 24/7 if they don't get his immune system up to par. I wonder if he had the jab💉...

@@dianah.9718 I don’t know, I hope not. I do know they adhere to the regular childhood schedule which I did not, per the instruction of my Dr I worked for. Sooooooo thankful for him. Remember tho, little ones build their immunity by getting sick but it’s so important to treat those illnesses naturally, not run off to the Dr all the time.

Don't let the sun go down on your anger. Women and men think differently because women are right and left brained, men are left brained. Women say 200-300 more words a day(there was a study on this) then men because we access the left and right brain vs men only left brain.

Derek you need to let go of Sarah's past relationships.. She married YOU!!! It's not flattering at all and it gets old and tiring hearing it as Your Partner. Enjoy Your Marriage!!! Or go see a Counselor. Other than Sarah's and Lo's Podcast they did about it hopefully She's not talking about them either. You Two Are Happy So Thrive In Your Relationship!!! Go To Church Together As A Family, Believe, Have Faith!!! Sarah Your outfits look great!!!

Parenting your partner is the ultimate intimacy killer. This isn't a sustainable dynamic for an adult relationship and certainly not a sexy one. Feel for Sarah. She is so over DerICK.
