I can at times talk in a circular manner (irritating, I know), but she takes the prize. In a Court proceeding it is fairly simple to answer a question quickly and to the point. Her own attorneys were telling her to listen and just answer the question, he even asked if she remembered what the question was at one point.
@deniseharrison74732 жыл бұрын
In my 60+ years, experience not judgement, brings me to this conclusion. No matter how good of an actor, whether that is your profession or not, you cannot escape your true self. It is telling in mannerism's, tone of voice, facial and eye expressions to name just a few. She did not even have to open her mouth to discredit herself. Her body movements were unnatural for someone abused. No tears for the fear for herself or her sister. Being the recipient of abuse years ago, you can sense another person's pain. All I sense from her is her being the abuser.
@caroles55022 жыл бұрын
I agree that Heard is unconvincing as a victim. She must think those witnessing her are stupid, if she thinks she is convincing. You don't have to be skilled in body language to know she's lying and deflecting. She is actually telling it from Depp's point of view, because she was the one doing these things! Like the story where Depp supposedly hits her with the door. After this deposition there was audio that came out. It was actually Amber trying to bust through the door and Depp accidentally trying to close the door hit her toes which made her fly into even more rage. She took the door pulled and slammed his head between the door and dooway! Then she punched him in the head! He was trying to flee and hide in the bathroom! She admitted this in audio! Everytime she claims Depp did something, it was actually her going after Depp!?!

She is like some rabid wild animal. It makes one wonder how she behaves when she thinks she is not being watched. Here she tries to distance herself by eating, looking bored, looking in every direction except at the woman who is asking her questions and not even listening during the trial. She looks to me as if she wants to stand up and attack someone. The snarl when she says, “I would do anything to protect my baby sister!” Gives her true nature away. This woman is not a victim, she is the abuser.

Johnny Depp would leave or try to get away every time Amber would get violent. On the tapes that was her ONLY grievance with JD, that he would "split" She called him "a baby" for complaining that he got violent with him, on the tapes. She admitted she "loses it" and that she assaults him. Also he never ever retaliated no matter how hard to she tried, in my opinion, to make him do it. AH really scrounged to get any evidence, meaning she fabricated. It seems to me AH planned to take him for everything, bolster her career by painting JD as an abuser. And there is evidence showing on the dates she said she had these bruises, of her being seen naked by hair and makeup people that said there was NOTHING. There are also press photos showing there was nothing. There are 36 neutral witnesses who have eyewitness testimony, including police, that refuting her claims. The only people saying they believe Amber are her 5 closest friends, including her sister, which none have any actual eyewitness testimony to her claims JD was abusive, they are just saying they believe her not that they saw him ever do anything to her. Amber Heard is a stone cold Narcissist. There was also some scandal in her relationship with Elon Musk. That is a whole other mess. There are photos of him with her and you can clearly see bruises on his face. There was also a court case where they fought over their frozen embryos. She wanted to keep them and he didn't. Lucky for him he won. AH is an old fashioned golddigger. She's getting up there in age by Hollywood standards and most of her appeal is her looks. Not her acting ability. There is also a video where her sister is confronted about AH "kicking her ass" and her sister, in the video, is sporting the bruises to prove it. When confronted her sister just says she doesn't want to talk about it. There is also the case where she spent a night in jail for assaulting an ex girlfriend Two police officers witnessed it and arrested her. It shows her lack of impulse control that she would assault someone in public. Imagine what she does in private. She also later lied and said the police arrested her because they were homophobic EVEN THOUGH one of the policewomen is gay and a gay activist. That is indicative of how little AH cares for speaking the truth and how easily she will try and smear someone's character regardless of the insurmountable evidence against her. Amber Heard is a menace and should not be held up on any pedestal. In fact she needs to made an example. She discredits the MeToo movement. She proves how hard it is for men to come forward when they have been victims of domestic violence. I hope justice will be served. I feel for Johnny Depp. He has a lifetime of being a good man with EVERYONE else who knows him has said he is kind, compassionate and would never hit anyone, and hasn't. AH team hired a private investigator to find dirt on JD and all he found were every person he interviewed, all over the world I might add for almost a year, saying what a wonderful person JD is. Nobody had ever seen or experienced any form of ugliness or abuse. They all praised his character and his nature. So sad that the Me Too movement was used as a Segway to damage a person who has never abused anyone in their life. AH needs to be exposed for the liar and abuser she is.

The way she behaved in this deposition, the haughty arrogant demeanor is vastly different to her performance on the stand now. The eye rolling, the smirking the fact that she is showing no signs of the PTSD she claims at trial. In the current trial she’s acting how she thinks a victim would act which is such an insult to actual victims. She thinks they are over emotional, hysterical and break down crying every two seconds which is not how a survivor really presents. Just shows you the way she views victims of abuse. She says in this deposition that she didn’t want to be a doormat again another insult to victims and the fact she thinks victims of dv are doormat. She’s despicable. She isn’t scared of JD one bit. AH was for lack of a better term, the one who wore the pants in the relationship. She was very aggressive, very loud and demanding. She expected everything to always go her way and she is never wrong about anything. She would punch JD in the face, she isn’t slapping him like a dainty little girl. She has a violent history, I know of at least 4 people she has hit, she was also known to be a “thrower.” She cannot control herself when she is frustrated or angry and thinks it’s accepts to lash out and physically attack someone. She can punch JD anytime she wants and that’s okay because she is a woman. If he should hit her back that’s abuse. She is also very sarcastic and verbally abusive. She would always use clever little comeback with JD I’ve heard her do it over and over. She abused him, gaslight him, shamed and demeaned him. She doesn’t thinks anything she’s done is abuse. Let’s not forget the vodka bottle that chopped of the top of a finger and the cigarette she put out on his face. If a man did that to a woman he would be in prison. The double standards are disgraceful. She’s a disgusting liar.

I just feel bad for him because his personal struggles are being laid out on a table to be examined, and all that just because he wants to show that he never actually abused her.

As a survivor of abuse for a long time, I don’t get any cues from her that she has been abused. However, my whole body responds to her with fight or flight, in each of the videos, I can tell she is very unpredictable and incredibly violent and she can barely contain it in the courtroom.. she is also trying to hardest to perform emotions she doesn’t have. I don’t see defensive anger either.. I see indignation and frustration, annoyance. Also her story is so vague and lacking any internal thought processes. I’m willing to bet she won’t remember the details of what she said later in the questioning and if she was asked again.. she would tell a different sequence of events. If Depp’s lawyer was smart, she would have her retell that multiple times here and there and record the changes in the stories and present them, later in the trial.

As a woman who as been through more than enough physical and emotional abuse in my lifetime, this woman turns my stomach. NOTHING about her recounting of these instances is authentic. Her emotions are not at all genuine when talking about their situation(s), she uses her "baby" sister as an excuse to keep herself in the victim role she so desperately wants everyone to believe she's lived in, and her performance here comes across as what she THINKS a female DV survivor would look like. I've seen more convincing performances on CSI: Miami, honestly. To me, it appears that the only one she is genuinely pissed off at is the woman asking the questions, because how dare someone question her victimhood. Their relationship was clearly toxic, and, in my opinion, she was the initial and dominant abuser and he was the reactive abuser.
@gymnast28904 жыл бұрын
@@ceeveekaye Yeah, you can say outright she lied if you read the court documents. And the verdict. She lied. Over & over again. This is 2016...this story evolved..the instances eventually reached accusations of rape. But yes, her "baby" sister...2 yrs younger than her...told over 20 people that AH attacked JD...whose dominant hand was in a fresh cast ( a bit painful to beat someone up with a hand just out of surgery, or with one hand...don't you think?) That she then got in between them afraid " my sister was going to kill JD". So yes, she lied. Like she did to the Australian authorities, Homeland Security, & under Oath on 3 continents. She's a pathological liar.
@gymnast28904 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately, there's not a shred of proof he ever touched her...just ran away. Pertaining to this incident her sister told over 20 people "her sister attacked JD again & she got in between them & was afraid she was going to kill him". Since he had a fresh cast post-op on his dominant hand, it makes sense he would have a difficult time defending himself... And there is zero evidence he ever did anything but try to run, hide, protect himself...like he said on the audio...and she was yelling at him for it!! It's a dangerous narrative that women can't be abusers. Not a gender issue. Also, what is "reactive abuser". If I'm being smothered & reach up & scratch the obviously stronger person who was smothering me....I'm the "reactive abuser"? And if so, what are my options? Let this person kill me? Because I'm a "reactive abuser" if I don't let the person kill me? If the person is a stranger who broke in my home, then I'm not a "reactive abuser"? I would be defending myself. Please explain the logic here. Or the social narrative behind the difference of defending oneself & being a "reactive abuser"?
@gymnast28904 жыл бұрын
If someone is both the "initial" & the "dominant" abuser....how does that make the victim the "reactive abuser"? I'm truly confused. It sounds like you're saying in a DV situation if a person defends themself in any way they are a abuser as well as a victim. That in DV situations, if you don't let the initial & dominant abuser kill you...you've become an "abuser" as well. You are f'ed up...and so are 50 people who have zero knowledge of this case who have decided JD was also an abuser with zero evidence to support that theory. As long as people are getting their info from the media....who lie constantly.....instead of thinking for themselves...I guess they'll remain sheeple. I am interested in your "reactive abuser" theory.
@oh.mylanta.4 жыл бұрын
@@gymnast2890 Reactive abuse is not "a theory", it's quite real and doesn't specifically have to do with physical contact. There is very much a line between defending yourself, and becoming a reactive abuser. Assuming I'm "f'ed up", a "sheeple", and "have zero knowledge" of this case is an interesting take. Two long comments worth of anger and hate is a lot of aggression to throw at a person (or 50 that seem to have agreed with my POV), when it's just as easy to google something and educate yourself. breakthesilencedv.org/reactive-abuse-what-it-is-and-why-abusers-rely-on-it/

@@oh.mylanta. That's an interesting article. I can see the abuser's accusations of "reactive abuse" being especially effective on their victims, if they are guilty of gaslighting. This is the attempt to convince someone of the opposite of something regardless of what that person may have seen or experienced with their own eyes, or trying to convince the victim they are mentally ill--so shouldn't be believed. After fleeing my own marriage, I spent a couple of years volunteering at a battered women's shelter, and also heard from their own mouths, that women are very often the abusers themselves, in addition to becoming co-dependent. It can become a very tangled web of learned behaviors, behaviors that are difficult to learn to overcome. My youngest son married a young lady that was married then divorced, to a local cop for 10 years, and although he never laid a hand on her, he did manage to abuse her mentally and emotionally--he was a master of gaslighting. I thank God my son has a very strong personality and has so far, been able to remain untangled from the drama, while she recovers from her abusive relationship. But, he still has a hard row to hoe in this marriage, for sure. And I wonder how much of his early childhood he subconsciously remembers from our marriage, that may explain why he decided to marry her. Abusive relationships can be generational in their effects. I feel especially protective of her, both as a former victim, and because my first blood-grandchild is coming in January.

After she filed abuse charges against him and filed for divorce she took the mustang back to the same mechanic and tried to have more work done to it & have it charged to JD. The mechanic testified. Also, after the show, AH requested the mechanic bring the car over to tutor her on how to use the hands free feature, when he got to her parking garage & she got in the car, he started to download her contacts, and realized she had already done it. Then AH said "we are all alone here in a dark garage no one can see what we are doing" totally freaked the poor guy out. He was trying to devise an escape when he mentioned he knew her shrink, and she freaked out and threw him out of the car, yelling & screaming at him. Being very familiar with partner abuse.In some dynamics of abuse,Johnny looks a mess and is a big drinker but he might be from an abusive family with lots of issues drinking/drugs has been his go to coping mechanism.She is young,pretty and fools most people but she is vicious with only herself in mind.Johnny is kind,artistic and wounded since he was a kid,however most see him as a rough,creepy drug/drunk.Most people who take substances are sensitive and empathetic and that’s why they take them to stop that bad feeling,then comes someone who abuses them and they drink/drug even more and they always look worse to the outside.The truth rarely comes out.Thank goodness she taped it,thinking she would get him.Backfired on her!HaHa Hope she gets what she deserves.

@@kibby5774 I'm sorry you had to endure that. I'm a psychologist & that's the most insightful comment I've ever read. JD does in fact have unresolved childhood C-PTSD from what he has stated, I believe that sums up the situation. I believe he was sober when they met, he remembered the day he broke his sobriety quite well it seemed. Abuse will drive anyone to drink/drugs...or relapse. I hope you are well, I have some free resources from YT that I believe are fantastic methods of healing, if you are interested. They are not MINE, just referrals to other people I believe have created great methods. Much love♥️♥️🌎🌎⚡⚡♾♾

I can’t even watch her. I’m unable to clearly articulate why…do I intensely dislike her? It’s almost as if she loves, LOVES this whole thing. Loves that she gets center stage? It’s as if she is getting this underlying thrill from all of this. Her eating while being asked questions seems incredibly rude and dismissive. She doesn’t see it that way. To me, she believes she’s “untouchable,” with a high level of self righteous superiority. She appears to truly believes no one would ever (dare) doubt her. She’s delusional.

How could a judge have ruled that she was telling the truth?
@kelkenkat3 жыл бұрын
The judge (Judge Nicols) son works for the newspaper Johnny was suing. His wife is also friends with Amber's friends. Simple answer, crooked judge unfortunately.

In the second clip, I just watched the testimony from The trial and Johnny Depp describes the incident as completely the opposite of what Amber Heard just described as. He had retreated to a bathroom to get away from her and she was screaming and pounding on the door for him to engage with her again. During the back and forth, she shoved the door at one point and it hit him in the head. An audio recording subsequent to that actual incident, between the two of them, seems to confirm his version.

The tapes of them working out a conflict to later bring into couple's therapy proves Amber Heard is a raging narcissist. Word salad, entitlement, drama, hysterics, blame shifting, giving him a damn xanax, admission of physical assault but says he made her do it.... Ugh.
@kirapyromantic44312 жыл бұрын
Times Amber admitted she was the physically abusive one on tape. 1) when she claimed she hit him, not punched him and he replied don't tell him what it feels like to be punched. 2) when she said she couldn't promise not to get physical and didn't ask Johnny to promise the same or mention him getting physical at all. 3.) when she told Johnny nobody would believe him if he claimed he was abused because he's a man, not because she didn't do it. 4) when she admitted to throwing pots and pans at him and said it was because he tried to run away from their fights. 5) when she said I never want to get in physical altercations BUT you run away every fight. 6) when he said that arguments cause her to get physical and she says she's not talking about getting physical, she's talking about arguments. AND ON THE STAND when she started a story with I threw, and quickly backtracked and said Johnny hit me without any additional info, characteristic of her stories so far. She's also very obviously lying about Johnny cutting his own finger which would not have broken the bone in a way such as to need a pin. She's also very obviously lying about her nose being broken, which would have caused severe swelling that would have been noticeable to everyone that was with her and for which she saw someone for medical care who testified there were no marks, bruises, bald spots etc.
@ST-ql1yy2 жыл бұрын
The recording of her saying she didn’t “punch” him and his automatic response “don’t tell me what it’s like to be punched” when he had no idea she was recording is enough proof that he has never punched or hit her. And she didn’t deny it or retort with something like she does know what it’s like because he’s hit her. She can’t hide from the truth. Hopefully.
@la11312 жыл бұрын
@@ST-ql1yy exactly, it’s amazing to me that anyone could believe her after listening to those recordings. They are completely damning for her. Not once did she sound like a victim (or even claim to be one!!!), quite the opposite. It doesn’t add up.

I totally agree, I would add smuggling her dogs into Australia (as the Aussie government are building a case in coordination with the FBI as we speak and could potentially go to jail for years over it, the fact that the FBI are involved makes it seem that they don’t have any qualms about extraditing her) and for the just crazy violence against Johnny; punching him on numerous occasions, throwing things like pots, pans and vases at him, severing the tip of Johnny’s finger (after which he got MRSA 3 times, which is potentially deadly), putting out a cigarette on his face etc etc... needless to say, the list goes on...

She grew up in an abusive home by her own admission. From what I have seen of her I believe she is comfortable with fighting and that's the only way she knows to have a relationship. It seems to me that she is the instigator of fights, loves to get physical, and when the other party won't engage (like JD wont) she berates them (like She did to JD) and gets even more worked up and violent because they won't give her what she needs. She is someone who will always keep pushing to the extreme till she gets the response she is looking for. It's what she needs. Also, after listening to tapes of her, she believes that even though she physically attacks someone, if they are bigger than her or stronger, that it's not Dom. Absue because she physically can't knock them down. She, very seriously, needs help. Lots and lots of mental health help. If people who love her would only tell the truth about everything maybe that would lead to her getting the help she needs.

I think the psychologist in the current court case nailed it, Symptoms of Histrionic Personality Disorder. Even if her statement here was accurate, it would be hard to have any sympathy in the midst of such an overly dramatic aggressive delivery. I think she is manipulative but unlike many others she is not very good at it, she always comes across as thoroughly dislikable.
