It is said in the West that “women don’t want a good man because the women can’t be good women. They get the bad guy because he take the pressure off the women to be good women.” Yet, you’re defending good men who are seeking good women abroad, especially in the Philippines. That act means that you’re a good woman.

Filipinas are very smart. People here are required to have a college degree even to only flip burgers at McDonald's. English is my first language yet my Filipina wife has to correct my spelling errors often. She is both very conservative yet also very feminine. She don't wear make up, have her nails done nor wear seductive clothing because she is a natural beauty and requires no artificial maintenance. And the Icing on the cake; she is a good cook, keeps our house spotless, and the most honest and faithful woman I've ever known. All she asks from me is to return the same respect. We make a great team.
@marierocher4422
@marierocher4422 Жыл бұрын
Exactly. That’s the silent message of Filipino women. They don’t say but be smart to understand the message. We want respect in return and do not profit from the niceties . Women are observing how far you’ll go. All they need is sincerity and honesty, not 6 figures in the wallet.

I’m single Filipina who resides in the USA. I can’t wait to go back to the Philippines. ❤ Education is a commodity that I am proud of. I’m Psychology major and Master of Science Degree in Education in Leadership. For majority of Filipino, it’s a gift and rooted among us to be naturally linguistics with compassionate attitudes towards all human kind. I feel like slave in America compared to being home in my province. I had my share of being exposed with a lot of racism and discrimination here in the USA. I miss all the people in the Philippines. @@_aweshit as long as the Philippines keeps their laws to hold people accountable then it won’t be an issue. Look at the difference between Philippines no divorce compared to the US no fault divorce. While the Philippines hold their people accountable to entering a marriage, in the US it’s incentive for women to divorce men, which is why women divorce men 90% of the time. Which is why we see fatherless children being raised and incarceration rates so high.

Being a Filipina, you should know that community and family are part of Filipino culture; hence, it looks like Filipinos value them more, and actually, most Asian countries do the same. And with the last sentence you said, that missing your family is the only thing stopping you from going to the Philippines, it only proves that you really are a Filipino. Because for us Filipinos, family is our home; wherever it may be, as long as we are with our family, we are at home.

Electric for 20 dollars a month or below (without air-conditioning) and water for as low 6-10 dollars a month. Foods for 200 dollars a month... Simple life and decent living. I don't recommend ever going to another country and being homeless or running out of money and having to go to the Embassy. Plan your trips smartly and always have enough money to get back home. If you retire there or running a business, you still have to be savvy with your money! You still have to support your mate and possibly sometimes her family there. In my opinion you even need more than a social security check to live on, but something is better than nothing, and you can survive with it if it's a good amount.

At 46, I finished my college degree while being a single mom of four kids and working part time. I then landed a teaching job in a public school, saved enough to purchase a lot and slowly build it into a small farm I intend to be the family's refuge when times get rough. I built a small farmhouse and started permaculture, and taking care of some chicken. Decided not to re marry or have a serious romantic relationship so I can fully look after my family. Now, isn't that smart? Did I need a man to help me financially? I was offered a job in the US twice, but I declined and chose to stay here to care for and guide my children as they grow up. Am I that dumb and uneducated for choosing my family instead of an opportunity?

As my grandmother always reminded females in our family: know your role in any part of the society. Do your best in your profession, in your company, in your community. Do your very best to keep your family intact by being a good wife and mother to your children. Do not compete with your husband, because a body with two heads is a monster, it will never survive! Never try to over pass your husband as the head of the family. However bright you are, in the family be the best in the supporting role. You should be trusted, respected and loved, never to be physically and verbally abused.

From 1999 to 2007 while working in Hong Kong and Kowloon on Victoria Bay, I noticed a lot of Filipina Ladies working there also. So I began to hang out at a Hong Kong Filipina-owned dinner lounge. One night I walked in and they greeted me with a bit more of "Extra" joy. It was karaoke night, and the Filipina Ladies said so happy to see you tonight, it is The Blacks against The Whites! I said, "Who are The Blacks?" They said without a moment's hesitation WE ARE! Filipinas are Down To Earth! (like 4 flat tires)

Not in Brazil bro. Here there are more than 20 million single mothers, they are educated since childhood that feminism is something good, not to mention the laws that just looking at a woman can be considered a violation, eventually you can find an unicorn but it is rare.

My wife's two aunts married BM who are in the Navy when the Americans had their base in Angeles City, Philippines. They were living in America for more than 40 years and still together. They have beautiful mixed kids and from what the pictures show that they lived happy lives in the USA. They had jobs in corporate, one auntie was a manager at a bank and drives a Mercedez-Benz sports car. One auntie is fit and healthy, doing zumba and dances with groups. While both of their husbands are on the heavier side and that is the typical strategy, to make the guy unattractive and have them for themselves, I guess. LOL

She's right ! If he doesn't want you it's not your business: it's not your education. Many have education but are not happy with the education that doesn't apply happy aspects to their personal preferences. Education is not intended to make your issues of life the personal aspects of mutual preferences.
