Such a shame Dubu passed he was so talented and he won't be able to see his hard work pay off with the anime premiering rest in peace. The red gate arc is easily one of the best arcs of the story and you talking about it just makes me appreciate it more for all the foreshadowing it did for future plot as well as being one arc where jin woo actually struggled somewhat.

Man, I love these! Also, RIP to Dubu. He put it down for the ENTIRE series. SJW really did pull up to his sister's school like a super star.. About SJW and Kim/Iron, Sun Jin-Woo learned his lesson during the double dungeon. He's not fuggin around. If someone tries to kill him, he's ready for that pack. And if he can use his shadow to win against an Ice Elf, he's not going to hesitate. There is seriously a bunch of storylines being set up this arc.

Yeah this did feel like a stepping stone arc before we get to the main arc. Not a filler arc but rather a in between arc. As it is, I am STILL shocked that MC killed a human AND took his shadow! I mean I understand why but damn dude! Not to mention, his drip energy was so strong that he really IS a hentai protagonist lol. Just look at the guy, he could be getting his own harem.
