But that doesn’t mean he wants to put out art based off the angry dark side of him, he has spoken about how his getting to a point where he wants to start just putting more happy and positive music out as it reflects where he is in life. ​@@mw.faulkner She absolutely did, and Ren addressed all of that in this one quite well. He did say in a livestream after the premier that he does not want a part 2. He will if he has to, but he's still holding out a tiny bit of hope that Kujo will realize he was wrong in selling the beat without clearing the sample. That's all he wants. Short of that, he just wants to move on and let Kujo fade into obscurity where he belongs. He took back his power of the situation by making the agonizing decision to pull Sick Boi the song down, and then he got the anger and frustration out of his system with this song, which he's proud of (and should be). But he also wants to move forward from here.

I think the people who really think this is a diss track missed the whole first minute of the song. This diss isn't a diss it's an an emotional lash out to the legal/financial/social/personal abuse. Even 'nice' ren was tired and fed up I think it's not a diss just an expression of the nicest people can be driven to lowering themselves as a response to how people treat you.

Yes! My favorite part is from "Well guys, you probably think this is extreme" all the way to "YOU FEELIN' ME?!?" Those first four measures have this very coy, ironic, singsong, almost playground taunting vibe, then he snaps down into a crouch and gets so intense with "Fear me"... then my favorite line of the whole thing is, "I'm the subject matter, you're the scenery". 😮 Like, fuck bro, that's a Shakespearean level insult. **shivers in delight**

The girlfriend entered the story when she messaged Ren, pretending to be amicable, but then Ren saw her comments where she quoted some text that she claimed was in their contract, but she totally made it up. And yes, you should listen to the Dumb King Come diss on Dotta :)

The girlfriend came in when she was making posts and comments disparaging Ren. Ren DM'ed her to explain what was happening, not knowing it was Kujo's GF. He deleted the messages after he realized it was Kujo's GF because he didn't want to rag on both the Kujo and his GF, and the GF came heated at Ren because of the deleted messages. After talking a bit she acted nicer, but then started talking in Ren's reddit spreading the same lies and adding the contract part.

I can't believe how many of us were in the premiere. Double the previous record! ❤ Love the theatricality of this video. He made the rage so artful. And in the bts on Patreon he said the power stance and stuff were deliberate anime/manga style choices, so Ren's a nerd too. 😉 He made the beat extra special as a diss to prove he doesn't need anyone to make beats for him. He released the instrumental with a different kujo quote as the thumbnail. 😂 Today he met with the head of KZbin Music and got Sick Boi freed! (For now.) He also spoke to them about the issues creators and fans face with the current yt setup. So he is channeling the current publicity into productive stuff for everyone, which is typical Ren.

Sick Boi video is (temporarily) back up on Ren's page! He met with the powers that be at KZbin, and they agreed that the copyright claim was fraudulent. He may end up pulling it down in October to replace the audio with the new version unless there is an amicable solution that doesn't require the song to be remade, but for now, Sick Boi is back! 🎉

One of the most anticipated drops on youtube for a long time. Kujo should take the advice because when King Dotta got his ass handed to him in a hat over multiple instalments, Ren showed he can go way further than you could ever imagine. At least Ren and Dotta made friends because they were at least coming at it from positions of honesty. Not so sure this will go that way but we can hope.
