Honey. I Love you. And the drama in the beginning was perfect. I’m 62 but as a child I had a dramatic personality. My nickname was Madame Queen. I was a nurse for 35 years 17 in L&D in a hospital that did not offer epidurals. I am such a people person. I had to be to thrive. Now I’m retiring as I cannot find anyone who wants to hire me at this age. Will money be tight. Ohhhh yes. But I don’t have and never have had luxury but I would love to. Any extra money was used to help my kids or grandkids. I watch you as an escape and to live a bit vicariously, when you have young kids and 3 jobs, are married but are still the bigger earner you work as much as you can. I watched you from the beginning of your channel. You work hard, you have suffered greatly. Now you have your precious Leo. Someday if we can ever travel I want to fly over and push Leo’s pram while we walk into a luxury store. I will not go by myself but would feel comfortable with you. I completely understand. I also came from a single family home with an immigrant mother. We lived off of cereal in the morning. Toasted bread with ketchup for me and toasted bread and mayonnaise for her for lunch and dinner time we had plain white rice and chicken back. There is literally no meat on the back of a chicken. It was only 79 cents for a pack so my mom would stocked up on it. I will never forget my upbringing. I will never forget my struggles. That’s why I work hard to provide for my family and myself as much as possible. People only see the good stuff. They never see your pain and all you endure in life. To me it’s just pure jealousy and they want to find ways to bring down your happiness. I don’t let them. I know my worth.

KZbin does not force anyone to watch content. I have accidentally clicked on video suggestions and clicked off with ease. You can say that you're "not interested" in video recommendations. Not only that, but the luxury handbag community is sort of small relative to the other hobby communities on KZbin. I have had to actively search for specific content. It's amusing to me that these critics pretend to be so outraged by luxury content and "above" it all when, in all likelihood, they went looking for it.

Escapism and self expression has been so important during this difficult time. We share a lot of our lives online, but we don't have to share absolutely everything. Keep doing what you're doing. I highly respect your videos when you shared the pregnancy losses you experienced - thank you so much for sharing that and talking about it because it is so important that women know that they are not alone. If people wanted to see everything real and raw, they can watch the news. I for one know what watching the news every waking moment did for my mental health. Yes it's important that we all acknowledge that there are horrific things happening every minute - some of which may not even be announced - and that we are incredibly grateful for the privilege we live. But, it's ok to have fun online with a community who shares the same interests.

There's a lot of people on social media who have taken on the minimalism movement due to the negative impact of consumerism. It's fine if they want to consume less and even advocate, but I find it incredibly rude that a lot of them go on random channels, particularly those focussed on fashion (especially fast fashion) and practically force those creators to change their content and speak about sustainability and such. And it's even more ironic given that sustainability isn't inherently sustainable. A lot of "sustainable" brands have played into this trend and people praise them for it, but they don't stop to think that they brand, just by existing, is causing a lot of harm to nature because it's just another brand selling products. Just because they're so called sustainable, doesn't mean the production of their clothing line or what have you doesn't have a negative impact. It's all very hypocritical.

Good video and love the twilly on that bag. I like luxury items and enjoy seeing what others purchase. We all deal with stuff in our lives your Chanel takes you away from that for a few minutes. I follow a News anchor from Houston she does fashion, makeup and hair, etc. She does this to share knowledge for women and says it relaxes her which shows in her videos, you can tell she loves it Keep up the good work and show us the Hermès. I love their products could only afford some but that’s ok I’m saving for my Garden Party bag. To me that’s my Birkin. Honestly, I had never watched YT much, but since the pandemic started I have watched a lot of videos: make up, books, luxury goods. I have bought a ton of make up I don't really need, but that makes me happy. When I had covid, I would try to force myself to wear red lipstick (the piece I love the most). People should just appreciate the entertainment we get from all of you creators and not watch if they don't want to. They also should stop trying so hard to show everybody how virtuous they are: nobody cares. Usually, they do it belittling everybody, for some unknown reason.
