This is literally one of the best interviews of Daniel Craig I've ever seen. He's usually stumbling and repeating the same answers again and again. I felt like he ran out of energy before your turn. But he seemed to get more and more passionate talking about the style questions very quickly. Thank you so much David. I think he appreciated your questions just as much as I did.

You absolutely nailed the questions. You could see they were different and that DC enjoyed them. So very, very happy for you

Excellent interview! I've been a journalist for 20+ years (and a Bond fan for 35+ years), and you did a great job, David. Two things really stood out to me: 1. Daniel Craig's description of how he sees the character of James Bond is exactly how I see Bond, and - as you pointed out - it's pretty much the way Ian Fleming probably saw him as well. 2. I totally agree with Craig's point about gags versus wit. Despite what some critics say, there has always been humor in the Daniel Craig Bond films. It's just more subtle and verbal. There aren't any "comic relief" Southern sheriffs or pigeons doing double-takes.

Loved this interview! Great job! It was awesome seeing DC change throughout it. At the beginning you could tell he thought it was going to be another boring-generic interview with the same questions as the interviews before. But as the questions went on and they were different from other interviews and they were actual smart and engaging questions. He brightens up and get into it! Marvelous!

What a scoop! Well done David. For me the Craig films should be considered a separate series within the franchise. I was quite emotional at the end of the film, DC is my generation & for me Bond is really dead & the franchise has died with him. @@greatwuta Only issue i had was that I didn't understand the motivation of the villain. I didn't mind the ending unlike some other people.
@droprelease48202 жыл бұрын
@@Zack_410 the way i saw it he was a twisted villain. He was a boy from a family that worked for Spectre. In his mind, Spectre betrayed them and took away his family - hence the revenge plot. But to a larger extent (he insinuates this when he compares himself to Bond), he feels that no one should get the opportunity to have the certainty of having a family. This was his largest plot. When that was thwarted, his back up plan at the end was to at the very least prevent his 'prize' Madeline having anyone else but him as saviour
@AthelstanEngland2 жыл бұрын
@@Zack_410 agreed there was no motivation for Safin to commit mass murder. Wasn't keen on the ending either... not just the very end but right from the over the top final shoot out which was more like John Wick. But the worst part was why he didn't give Madeline a chance to explain and instead just plonked her on the train. Later it appears she was indeed innocent and being used by Blofeld. That didn't ring true to me.
