Another great quality & informative video showing London's 007 Burlington Arcade but probably a missed opportunity to check out the window display at The Vintage Watch Co which would have shown us all the Rolex watches worn in the early Bond movies (6538 Submariner and 1675 GMT-master) even an Explorer 1016 as worn by British author Ian Fleming (1908-1964)

This franchise has become so much bigger with Daniel Craig as 007, I don't think that they ever used to do promotional things like this. It's spectacularly good marketing for all concerned. But can you imagine the pressure on whoever takes up the reins?

I think it makes all the difference in the world when the majority of your group is well dressed - compliments on your nice clothes and footwear. Additionally, after the hype from NTTD, it will provide nearly endless new content of - this is the result of me wearing these shoes/boots/outfits, out in the wild, for 1/2/3 years - very valuable information. Good review - hope you were able to visit nearby Jermyn Street for a visit to Bond brands John Lobb and Turnbull and Asser along with many other great shoe and shirt brands.

Fantastic. I was in London just last weekend and really enjoyed this 007 installation at the Arcade and browsing all the amazing shops. I went through again in the evening and the Bollinger Bar a few doors down from Globetrotter was hopping!!!

I was lucky enough to do the “near” whole experience on opening weekend. The arcade, the bollinger champagne bar, the Omega shop with M’s desk, all the shops, as well as the Leica gallery, filming locations, and the movie at the BFI imax. It was an incredible day!

I grew up with James Bond and loved it as a child but it's just turned into a fetishistic marketing exercise promoting the new religion of snobbery, greed and crass over consumption. Toys for super rich boys and gullible wannabes. I bet they're annoyed that they're not allowed to sell the Baretta and Walther PPK and can only console themselves with Omega watches. I support the promotion of historic brands and excellence in design and manufacture (and the Beadles are a wonderful symbol of the past, like Beefeaters and Chelsea pensioners), but a crass theme park walk through a gun barrel is problematic, to say the least, and lacking in good taste. It would never have happened in M's and Miss Moneypenny's day.
