Love the fact that you are so open and honest about the kids getting treats , everything in moderation is a great motto

I agree. Denying kids treats just means they will get it elsewhere when you are not around. Either at school or a friends or somewhere. Treats can be a part of the diet.

For your deli meats, you would be best off checking on the deli section as they would be cheaper in the bulk section for the most part. You can also freeze and then pull it out and buy kgs on sale of the different meats you like. :)

I love the way you preach about not wasting food. I am constantly amazed and saddened when I see how much food so many people throw out all of the time. I volunteer one Sunday a month at a local homeless shelter, and many of us bring food. We feed between 50-100 people, and provide a main dish, a meatless dish, and so on. If people could see how many people in this country are starving, they would think twice before just tossing food that can be used in another way.

I currently have to shop at least twice per week for our family of 6 here in the US due to limits on so many things. I normally do a monthly big shop and then buy fruit and fresh veg on a smaller trip when needed. The limits are bad enough but we also get rude stares when trying to do a monthly shop here. You must have much kinder understanding people where you live! 💜 I enjoy watching your hauls!! ☺️

My husband would love those orange chocolates, I search out the white cheddar blocks, It’s so unnecessary to add dye to white cheese!

Oh no, I didnt know Australia was going on lockdown again. I am sorry, I have been selfishly focused on all the crazy stuff here in the US and we are dealing with even more restrictions here in Michigan. I hope you all stay well and healthy. I am so glad you were able to stock up.
